I was in on the stroke of 4pm and went straight for ER, which showed Sold Out, there must have been about three available. I dithered about a bit when I realised that New Road and Braemar Road were the wrong way round on the plan, what's that all about? Anyway, just happy to share the day with family - can't wait to see what the club cooks up for the pre-match and half-time, I'm thinking the Babettes might give us a B for old times' sake...
What do you mean they are the "wrong way around"?

How do you access this shambles of a website, It keeps saying Restricted Access until I log in then says I don't qualify. Need 1 extra in Braemer for the wife so any help appreciated. (got over 4,000 taps so at a loss how this works)

I understood that but assumed any still available were on Exchange, but if I click on Exchange it only lets me offer mine. Read about how crap this site is but never thought it was this poor
Not sure if exchange has been opened up for Barnsley game yet....

What are you trying to do exactly?

If you are a STHer and you want to buy an extra ticket for someone then i) they need to have over 750 TAPs, and (probably) ii) they need to login to their own account.

It's ok thanks, I thought any tickets being offered now were on exchange, Badgerbee has put me right but that website is bloody awful,

When the plan pops up, ER is to the right, which to me means that New Road should be at the top and Braemar at the bottom? If you're flying over GP? But it's the other way round - N blocks are at the bottom and B blocks are at the top. Unless I'm going mad?

Ealing Road is on the left. Always has been.

Three sides in red, one (on the left) in grey - there's me thinking the grey one was the away end. Plan on the BFC website has Ealing Road on the right - like it would be on a map. Don't think it's just me that would find that confusing.

It's grey because it was sold out. It's also a terrace on the map, not a Brook Rd stand lookalike. I will accept that the ticket system is completely sh*t, but not this one lol

Thought last Saturday was my last ever visit to GP, given up hope of getting a Barnsley ticket, had nothing better to do at 00:55 this morning so had a quick look on the ticket site and low and behold found there were about 25 seats left in the Family stand N508, had enough TAP's so grabbed myself one, what a result!!!!, :D:beer:

That's definitely not upside down.
Never used the ticketing site before and I admit I have always thought that Braemar Road and New Road would be the other way round for no other reason that the main entrance is in Braemar Road

Happenstance has meant that outside circumstances permitting that for my last visit to a league game at Griffin Park I will be sitting almost exactly where I used to stand when I first started coming on the journey that is Brentford FC

That definitely is!! It's looking at GP from the north. Surely you look at maps, etc with North at the top (so in this case the New Road should be at the top). However, to most Bees fans it is blindingly obvious which stand is which.

... and, as I've spent many seasons in New Road, it looks absolutely spot on to me!

Which bit are you having difficulty with?

I hate myself for not letting this alone. But wouldn't you expect to see a plan like this as you'd see it on a map, ie with the north stand at the top? (As the other plans on the BFC website are - also every aerial view, jigsaw and bath towel of GP you can buy.) Also, one end was greyed out, the other end was red with BRENTFORD FC on it - both were sold out - I don't think it's too stupid to quickly assume the totally grey end was the away end.

If I sit and study it I can see the corners on Braemar - but I wasn't, I was sitting perched like a vulture over the refresh key, hitting the first thing I saw available and only realising once it was in the basket that it was in the 'wrong' area. Not that there is a wrong area for this fixture :).

Yeah, surprised if this didn't sell out yesterday.....Another effect of the uncertainty around Corona Virus??.....
Will we be the first team ever who moves grounds, where the last game at the old ground has no spectators?

It's Brentford innit??

I bought a ticket for Sheffield Weds via exchange for Mrs Ch and got an email from club saying sorry your seat has been changed, but was given an alternative seat.

The alternative seat was in a similar area, but thought it a bit strange and was part expecting to be by the corner flag as they said they would credit the difference.

But as was ok.

How can that happen. You bought someone else’s ticket

Good afternoon,

Thank you for your ticket purchase for our game against Sheffield Wednesday. Unfortunately the seats you selected were unavailable for purchase so we have relocated you within the Braemar Road stand and refunded you the price difference. Your tickets will be available for collection from the ticket collection booth on Braemar Road from 10:00am onwards.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We look forward to welcoming you to Griffin Park tomorrow and hope you enjoy the match.

Best wishes,

Brentford Box Office

How can they have been "unavailable for purchase" when they are owned by a season ticket holder?

Possibly they are good seats that the club have claimed back for VIP'S then offered back inferior tickets with the offer of a part refund ??

Got mine in the post

The last game at Griffin Park will NOT take place on May 2nd

We will have to wait and see what happens in the future but there is no way this will be the case

You’re quite correct. It’s also very possible the last game at Griffin Park has already taken place.
