Clearly exhausted after no training.

Thankfully we played a sh*t team like Luton and we won.

Nice to see us be on the right side of a one nil where a team misses loads of chances. But can't help but think we would have smashed them if it wasn't due to the Covid outbreak.

Toney suspension will be against Leicester where he probably wouldn't have played so that's a bonus.

A lot of character in that performance and the Leicester game allows us a chance to get fitter and take it to Swansea.

Great result and though Luton came at us hard we actually had several good chances to make the game safe. Could have drawn or lost that on another day, but the defence battled very well.

Big big 3 points and nice to win ugly, lots to work on still. I dont believe we would have one that game last season.

Lucky in the end - really poor 2nd half and got away wirh one thanks to poor finishing. Looked absolutely shot after 60 mins and would have lost to a better side.

Thankfully Toney will only miss Leicester but he looks devoid of confidence at the moment so needs a goal quickly.

The good thing about us now is that even when we're under the cosh we give up very few good chances. We had easily the better ones in the second half.

Excellent three points IMO. Played some superb football first half and had to dig in deep second half when we literally has nothing left in the tank. These 3 points will make a huge difference come end of the season and it also continues our unbeaten run in the Championship.

Take it and run.

We were shagged out second half but stuck in there, Luton missed 1 or 2 decent chances but but we missed several easier ones.

I don’t mind winning ugly every now and then.x
Absolutely spot on. We have learnt how to grind out wins when necessary, and that is the difference between auto and play-offs.

A wins a win, especially after a covid enforced break, but we made hard work of that. Quality on the ball was very poor and some really average performances.

Battling performance but missed Da Silva In there today and the sooner Norgaard back the better.

The win was the important thing, it was always going to be tough tonight. I would expect a few of these players to be out again on Sunday. As we were running on empty for at least the last 30 minutes and may need minutes before Swansea next week.

The changes really should have been made earlier, it was clear no-one could pass or hold the ball up and the front players weren't pressing, so the pressure was never released. Anyway, 3 points and the unbeaten run continues, Toney missed the Cup game. If we can keep unbeaten until Dalsiva and Nørgaard are available, we've got players to rotate and push on.

Toney has been off for a few games now - he showed some nice touches early on (the goal for instance). He allowed himself to be riled by their defender - and he badly needs a goal. He didn't deserve one today.

Just as worrying for me is the lack of form of Rico Henry over the last half dozen games. He was caught out so many times in the second half.

Take that. Not at our best 2nd half as clearly the lack of training recently showed. Grinded it out. Big 3 points. Considering all that we could have had 3 or 4 goals tonight despite being below our best.

Wasn’t one of Rico’s best games as you say and it was the first time I’ve ever seen him get done for pace when Cornick went passed him. That said I wouldn’t say his overall recent form has been bad

First time I've seen Rico have a poor game all season. He wasn't the only one and we don't know who might be suffering after effects from the virus.

Excellent first half, some great movement and attacking play but awful after the break.
Jensen very frustrating, he can be world class one minute and non league the next. Janelt anonymous at times and i thought Rico had one of his worst games i can remember.
Ghoddos is starting to look a player and Zamburek did well when he came on.
Not sure i would have put Forss on as we needed to get a hold of the ball and keep it.
Must give Luton some credit they played well second half... Very pleased with the win.
Must add even though we were poor second half we missed several gilt edged chances to wrap it up.

Certainly wasn’t Rico’s best game but to say his lack of form over the last half dozen games sorry is laughable. I can’t remember the last time he had a bad game.

This is a joke right? You must be the only person who thinks Rico has been anything other than very good all season. He literally had no support 2nd half until Fosu came on as Canos was blowing out of his backside

Agreed. We don’t know which players have had covid and trust me after just having covid and recovered I still feel fatigued. With no more than a couple of training sessions to get three points is a huge bonus. Tonight the win was the most important thing as we accomplished it.

We rode our luck second half. Luton should have got something out of the game. Fortunately we held our defensive shape and that with lady luck got us over the line. Hopefully the second half was lack of match fitness.j

Luton have used the tactics of seeing themselves through the first half of games, then making wholesale substitutions and going for it. All our players looked like they were running through treacle after 50 minutes. Clearly we lacked match fitness due to our mini-break and it really showed as we were put under pressure. Let's hope we can resume, get over the Cup game and get back to playing better.

I don't even think he had a bad game tonight, just his toughest test so far this season. It's rare for a full back to be untroubled for as long as he has

Generally no but he had a couple of chances in the 2nd half that he looked less assured with than when he was scoring for fun. General play was still decent but a silly red card that thankfully doesnt mean much.
