Toney is imperious. He was made for the Premier League.
I thought he was tireless throughout. Magnificent defensive work too. His shot off the crossbar looked much better in the tv highlights than at the match live because it was the far end from where I was sitting. I think he’s up there for man of the match, but there were several. A great team performance.

Taken me 4 attempts to log on. Slightly high. Told the wifey at HT won’t be home tonight:

What a day … we so deserved this and how. Proud of everything associated with the club. Our team ‘turned up’. Every player deserved 10/10 and the fans at the ground deserved 11/10z.

I support a club that is now PremierLeague. That is it. I love Brentford FC.

Finally, f*** all those ****s you know Fulham, West Brom and those social media quotes last august. And one thing thank you MB and TF. We are Premier League.

Un f***ing Believable!! Just back, was absolutely incredible.. The whole run up has felt totally different to last year and as soon as we started it was clear we were up for it. We were on the front foot from the off.. Mbeumo was out of this world up front, he and Toney linked up so well and he constantly got in behind them. Canos was like a man possessed and they obviously targeted him from the off with a load of crude challenges going in on him whenever they had the chance. Midfield were bang on it and we looked totally comfortable at the back. Thought Toney would miss the pen but he slotted it right in the corner. No chance for the keeper. Then that goal from Emi.. Ayew went down in the box looking for a pen and we broke so quickly. Couldn't work out who it was who passed to Marcondes but turns out it was Roerslev. How did he even get there??? Toney then nearly scores goal of the season and Swans on the ropes.. HT all looking good. Swans come out fighting second half but we looked pretty comfortable at the back. Red card looked like a
horrendous tackle from where we were. After that the game kind of petered out. Was still nervous but deep inside I knew that we were in complete control. Don't think Raya had a save to make? Swansea showed their (lack of) class, trying to stop us playing but we were on another level to them and probably should have won it by 3 or 4. Scenes at the end were amazing with Peter Gilham lifting the trophy, the entire squad throwing Thomas Frank up in the air and Pontus dragging Matthew Benham over to the fans to lift the trophy. We THOROUGHLY deserved that. We've been fantastic all season. To come back from last year and do this is just incredible.. And look who were crucial at the death.. Canos, Mbeumo, Marcondes and Thomas Frank.. All of whom have had a load of grief this season. So proud of this club.. Just amazing!!!!

My final comment of the night. I’m too high. So so so delighted about the diversity of the fans at the game today. From someone that whilst back in the day felt he was ‘different’ (but never ever felt that way from fellow fans) good to see so many races supporting the bees. We are progressive !

I thought that in the crowd outside lionel road after the game. What a lovely, diverse bunch we are. Beautiful.

Watching the recording I made of the game.

For just about 5000 of us we really did make some noise - you can hear our chants ringing out clearly.

Just like v Bournemouth last week, we seem to have found a real new strength amongst a fewer number.

Just imagine what we can do when Lionel Road us full!

This is no joke. I was out with my boy this morning, feeding the ducks, you know, doing the good parent thing before leaving the family for the rest off the day. Anyway, he got bitten by a swan*. A swan! I thought, f- me this is a sign. Swansea are going to bite us on the arse. Got proper freaked out.

Glad that was just mind games!

*He was fine by the way.

I 'watched' it with my dad, although he slept through most of it, he's been going since before the second World War and has now succumbed to dementia and has very bad eyesight, he doesn't want to go anymore, but as frozen STH' s I'm hoping to get him to some matches next season but I don't know if he really knows what had happened today so it may be a struggle. My thoughts are with all of you who have lost someone, who would have loved today. COYB
Hey mate, respect to you, must have been tough/good today.
My dad's ashes are buried near a corner flag in Griffin Park and I know he was there with me today, and it meant a lot to me today, for him.
I hope your dad gets to see us win a few games next season. Big love. Xx

That was such a perfect day. All week I felt like it was our time but didn’t want to admit to that. The team played like they believed it was our time too. The players and the coaches were magnificent. What a day, what a season. I can’t wait to see what the Bees back room team do to get us ready for next season

Just as a little postscript, I thought the red card was harsh. He trod on Jensen's heel accidentally and Jensen's heel lifted him off the ground. It looked very ugly at first sight, but I'd say Grimes's tackle at the start of the game, for which he got a yellow, was worse.

Victory today would be very appropriate in honour to a very old Bee, my Dad, Frank Layton…..Who passed away two weeks ago at the age of 98. Despite his great age, he was still very much alert and watched the games on TV as much as possible.

He had been a Brentford fan since1929 (or perhaps, even earlier) since he grew up on Brook Road right next toThe Griffin and GP stadium and lived there from 1922-54 - apart from his military service years. He had so much wanted to see the Bees in the top league once more ……and this year he said it is our chance.
Fitting indeed. RIP

Still sinking in it’s taken 73 years of supporting the Bee’s, my first match was the year we got relegated from the top tier in 1948 as a 10 year old. After working for the club for 50 years in different roles (mostly in a voluntary capacity) we finally got our deserved reward. Well done Brentford a great Club well loved by many.

Not similar in looks, but in circumstances, to JDS v Spurs, a slip, a stumble, then the second part looking awful. Thought he was definitely out of control which I believe is one of the major factors in the decision.

Just watching Quest show with highlights and post match opinion.
Old ‘bullet points’ Warburton looks a natural on the mic.
That’s a future job for him when QPeeha get shot.

He is a big part of our history and our journey, we need to let this one go. He always speaks well of us but is trying to make a living at other clubs at the same time.

I thought it was shocking watching live, but on TV you can see not deliberate, I agree. Waiting for cooper to blame the ref for the defeat.

it certainly made up for the 5-6 yellows they never got and grimes was a straight red.

My only problem with yesterday’s win.

Ive not watch Match Of The Day for a few years now, dont Like the so called experts. They will now have to talk about this GREAT CLUB I and many have followed for many many years (65+ years for me) Now I’ll have to start watching again

Cooper has already, said straight after the game “ we certainly didn’t get any help from he officials today” .

From our seat in the corner and watching down the line, it looked a proper two footed lunge. He probably didn’t mean it but was certainly looking to make sure Jensen ended up on top of the metal barriers. If you go in that hard, there is not much margin for error.

I forgot to record the Quest programme. Is there/will there be an extended highlights package, or even a replay of the whole game out there anywhere? Wouldn't have missed being at the game, but with all the best moments being at the other end, I need an opportunity to savour the finer points from a better position.
