Interesting conundrum for TF.

Forss has come on and done the business. He always looks like scoring. Is there a possibility he could start instead of Toney?
Based on what I've seen, MF knows the system and looks more of a Brentford forward than IT currently does, but IT won't get up to speed ASAP sitting on the bench.

Excellent finish by Bryan. Forss did well after coming on, thought Toney looked good, a little rusty but unlucky not to score a couple. Rico MoM, Pinnock close second.

Great win.. well deserved. .still some improvement left .. Daniels very good. Pinnock, Jannson, Henrik solid.. Da Silva excellent goal.. Rico MOTM.. Canos looked of the pace but delivered a great pass for Rico for first goal.. Toney looked better than Brum but needs more time to speed up for our system..

Exactly. You can see MF knows the Brentford way, his press and running in behind was a little better then IT. But IT will get there.

The moment when your son says Bryan has scored... and you argue he hasn’t realising your a bit behind on I follow... push the little red bar forward game had finished...

Can't say I'm not relieved.
Why ? 'Udders were absolute garbage, did they get in our penalty area in the second half apart from the Bacuna header. Struggled last year and will be an even bigger one this year. WE did what any good team does and beat what you've got in front of you even though I thought we could have gone up another gear.

Great to get up and running, was looking like it wasnt going to be our day but things clicked eventually. Pinnock, henry, da silva and mbeumo in the end all had great games but no one really below average except dare i say it... Toney. He got in the right places though just needs to hammer one home.

That slight delay on commentary does my nut in , I thought Forss was offside for his goal!!!

Very nice second half. A lot of decent performances as they start to click playing together. Nobody playing badly. It is a matter of time before Toney scores and given the positions he's getting in and the number of shots from them, I suspect he'll score bucketloads once he's on song. Nice simple goal for Forss who was in so much space I thought he must have been offside - that's what having to put two or three on Bryan does. Interesting to see Pinnock being encouraged to run forward with the ball out of defence, something we lacked last season.

Absolutely!!! MF looks much more "OW" than IT has so far this season....
I'm thinking that IT is not yet (Brentford) fit.....

New stadium, new players, 3-0 win. Lets be fair, we'd all have taken that before the start. Defence looks as solid as ever, Mbuemo looks back on pace, and you've got to give Toney a few games to really settle in properly. As Matt Murray said on Sky, a comfortable win without getting out of second gear.

Well worth the 3 points in the end, should've been 5/6 but Toney will find his feet soon.

Was concerned at half time we were heading for another Birmingham style game but we were too good in the end.

JDS motm.

Great to get our first 3 points on the board. Yes, we could have scored 5 or 6 today but I’m more than happy with 3-0.
Huddersfield unimpressive.
The first and third goals were beauts. Rico was superb and my MoM too.

We begin to put to bed last year. 1st league win of the season. Also 1st win at LR. We have retained the best defence in the league from last year. Midfield and forwards starting to build an understanding. Choice of 2 centre forwards who can score goals. Just need Toney to get his 1st for us. We have everything we need to get into the top 2 this year.

Looked very comfortable, yet we still look like we had another gear or two in us to come. Excellent result and Hudders look in big trouble

Maybe. I agree with those that say we need another Norgaard type player that can hold the ball under pressure when we face those teams that give us no time on the ball. Udders were really not a good team. Having said that, delighted with the 3-0 win, as I thought it was going to be like last season, where we couldn't score against this lot. They didn't battle as much as Cowleyball though.

A good yard onside.
Yes, they had some lemon standing inside the six yard box to the right side of the goal. Covering the infinitessimal chance that Bryan would have a go with his right foot.

IT or MF is a great dilemma for a head coach to have, and wih fixtures coming thick and fast over a compressed season, it's good to know that whoever holds the number nine shirt can be rested from time to time with little or no fall-off in quality or strike force (pun not intended).

Good goals, but Huddersfield almost looked a free hit like a team in transition, a bit like Hull were last season, but they have players out and more time.
We played well but need to gel. Between Rico and Brian for MoM. Ivan looked devastated to be subbed. He needn’t be. He’s going to get loads for us. I’m never wrong. Just look at my score forecast.
