As expected. Good opportunity for FTT to show what he's about with a 30 yard worldie into the west stand

Slightly terrifying Liverpool line up!
I agree; however, I genuinely think they've shown us a LOT of respect by playing their strongest team the weekend before a CL game.

Ajer is having brilliant match. Mbeumo is causing their defence problems. Their midfield is so sharp though

Bees showing they every inch can compete with the one of best sides in the PL. I fully expected our front two to test Liverpool and they are!

I really hate the late flag.
Obvious offside on Mbeumo.
He could go on and get clattered to block a shot and get injured, or he could hurt an onrushing keeper.

Pinnock caught out. He really is struggling with mobility. Expect Zanka on soon

Bees have done everything Liverpool have done without the subtle cynicism.

What a great first half! Two goal line clearances and one of the best saves you'll ever see by Raya. And a superbly worked set piece for Ethan's goal. Such a pity we gave them one back so quickly.

As usual with us it was abit of a half of two halves. Amazing first 25 then abit flat but overall i very good first half. I thought van dijk fouled toney in the build up to their goal but thats no excuse for the defending. Proud of that first half though, held our own. What a stop from raya from jota, hes thriving in the prem

Liverpool are exceptional going forward. We've acquitted ourselves well, Ajer was outstanding but shame he couldn't get a head on the ball for their goal. Ivan as usual winning flicks he has absolutely no right to, against Van Dijk and Matip.

Thomas going to need to choose his remaining subs carefully - I think FTT on a yellow will get hooked for Baptiste, perhaps Wissa for Bryan when he runs out of steam.

Really good performance, shame we couldn’t hold on to the lead a bit longer.
We have caused them loads of problems, they look dangerous with every attack, but hey, that’s to be expected.
I love Jansson, brilliant captain, always having a moan and making his point to the ref 👍🏻

On honeymoon so having to watch it in bar full of Liverpool fans. Well proud of that half although thought we could have been more clinical. Liverpool fans very complimentary and not in a condescending way like some

I thought Baptists would be better in this one. How Mane never got carded for that one on Pontus.
I have felt they've got away with a lot of niggly fouls whilst we've been punished.
I think they're a challenge or 2 away from a card. Think the officials will be talking at half time and maybe analysing it. Easier to do, despite comms, in the break than during a game. That's why I feel sometimes officials come out with entirely different mindset 2nd halves.

Mbeumo and Toney are causing Liverpool a lot of problems. If we can get the ball up to them and support them, I think we can score again. Expect Liverpool to turn the screw in the second half. How many barges has Mane got away with? ridiculous. Doing so well.

Attwell not doing us many favours.
