Klopp being delusional that they created more chances. Look at the xG, Jurgen!

Well, he's not wrong. They did create more chances...just we created better chances :D Which is epic.

Ivan and Brian were fantastic today, and we're soon going to have a full German international! When we had Derek Bryan and Scott Partiridge up top, I couldn't have thought we'd be where we are today. To go from those pretty dark days in the 4th tier to where we are now...

I went to school with a bunch of QPR fans, and they were always ahead of us. And then when they signed Rowlands... Yet now, we're just incredible. This team of stars. We're going to have a full team of internationals soon, too! Raya surely not far away from a Spanish call-up, all the defence are internationals, Janelt about to get capped, Brian maybe not far away (which is insane).

Raya should be wearing #10 apparantly lol. I think we mixed it up well, by no means long ball. Liverpool were playing quite a few long diagonals aswell, its just simple tactics against teams that press high, both teams used it quite efficiently hence the open and enthralling game

Liverpool got the sort of decisions you might expect them to get at Anfield. Impressed with how they tackled and chased and knocked the ball about all the same. Ivan gave VVD some battle. Couldn't beat us though, and I thought we could have won it late on. Too much to process really. What a night! I didn't want to leave the ground

We did play it long a lot. Passing out of the back all the time would have been suicidal.
We did play it long more than normal but he made it sound like we were the new Wimbledon. The free kick embarrassed them, donโ€™t think Rays was involved ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘

Me neither. I just stood there for ages as the ground emptied, taking it all in. We have never faced a better opposition and in my time I think that was the best result we have ever achieved. I donโ€™t know if I will ever see anything like that again. I suspect we have more to come but in case we donโ€™t, I stayed until the last people left the ground. Thank you to everyone that got us from the dark days to today. It has been a hell of a ride.

Absoutely HEROIC performance from the team. My voice is gone. One of the best games I have ever seen live. So f***ing proud of the team and the whole club. I honestly thought we won it at the end with that Toney disallowed goal. Going to open a bottle of Vodka now. What a match and so great to meet up with an old friend I haven't seen in over 15 years plus.

Finally the fans - what an atmosphere!!! Can't wait to rewatch it again.

I really don't get all this slagging off of Klopp, he kept repeating how much we deserved a point. If anything it's the Liverpool fans who should be pissed off with him, as he talked as much about Brentford as he did about Liverpool.

And so what if it wasn't 100% factual. Marcus Gayle didn't get all his Bees facts right either.

If we played it a bit longer than normal it was only because we knew Ivan had Virgil in his pocket!!!! ๐Ÿ˜

First big test against a ' big' team, came out rosy. No disrespect to Brighton ( I like Brighton ), the others can get stuffed. I can actually see Brentford challenging for a place in Europe competitions. The way they kept coming back, not giving up.This is Brentford init ? Now they are on the radar. A long way to go, but so far so good.

Amazing match. Mad to be there, with crazy celebrations.

So much so my little black travel card style wallet with credit cards and season ticket jumped out of my pocket.

If anyone in and around W233 picked it up please PM me!

Fantastic result, Liverpool are one of best high pressing teams in the Premiership, so if you have the players to mix it up and go over the press then thats the obvious thing to day. Adapt your game to suit the opposition, well done TF. We'll no doubt adapt the strategy again next week against the Hammers. Come on you Bees!!!

What a super performance and thoroughly deserved result. I am so unbelievably proud of our club and all connected with it . Today confirmed what most of us already knew, that we fully deserve to be where we are and on our day can give anyone in this league a game . Long May it continue ! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ

My crowd prediction was (I think) 16,884.

Not too far away.

I got the score wrong at bees win 2 v 1.

But who cares?. We played the 6 times champions of Europe and went toe to toe with them. ๐Ÿ˜†

Tactically brilliant, playing out the back against the best pressing team on the planet would have been madness so we often lobbed it to IT who won 100% of the arias duals with the CB (Matip) and left BM to pick up the pieces and cause problems. Why VVD didnโ€™t swap over I will never know.

Second half The CB was told not to jump, just wait for IT to leave the ground then push him in the back and take the ball, donโ€™t worry Jergan has cleared it with the ref, he wonโ€™t give a single foul as long as he gets a signed scouse shirt at the end of the game.

Lots of chances both ends, Christ we looked like snatching it the last few minutes.

Nothing to be scared of, we have two of the best CBโ€™s in the premier with Ethan and Ajer and Pontus is the leader we all wanted. I would argue we have the best keeper in the premier at the moment and one of the best left backs too, and sergi, wow, what you can say about him too.

The holding midfielders are also as good as any I have seen other than the phenomenal Kante and up top we have the biggest menace in the premier and a fantastic foil in BM.

This isnโ€™t a fluke ,

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere (or is in the wrong place) but came across this BS from the โ€˜Football Insiderโ€™ (also apologies as I canโ€™t post the link from this mobile).

Article talking about BFC โ€˜cheatโ€™ tactics and our โ€˜dubious game managementโ€™.

Apparently weโ€™re under the spotlight of Premier League officials. May explain Atwellโ€™s fussy performance - strange he didnโ€™t do the same with Liverpool when they took their time over things. Hope our brilliant performance today stuffed that view right up their tailpipe.

Sources: Premier League to clamp down on Brentford 'cheat' tactics pre-Liverpool clash

Brentford are coming under the spotlight of Premier League match officials for dubious game-management tactics ahead of tomorrowโ€™s showdown against Liverpool, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
