Has everyone download theirs?

Surprised to not read any comments/reviews so far. Personally, I think it's excellent. And not for the obvious reasons!
I'm saving it for week two of lockdown

just flicked through it, look forward to reading it properly in due course. Some great memories (in a sort of perverse way) jumping off the page...!

A really good read, and what a journey!

As well as Matthew and his financial contribution we’re clearly indebted to so many talented and committed people for getting the stadium built. And also to Mr Drone for keeping us up to date with progress :sorted:

I hope there is the opportunity to show appreciation for the achievement in person at our new home before long.

Just received my copy. Have flicked through and read the first chapter. Looks great and reads well. Something to cheer me up as we go into Third Circle of Hell. Well done BU.

As stated above, a very pleasant surprise. Although I do need to get my address changed, luckily was able to get it from my old place!

Received mine today and read it this evening. A fantastic tribute to the hard work and determination of the many fans who kept our club alive and made the new stadium a reality and a particular tribute to the the incredible work of some who must have dedicated every spare moment to achieving the impossible...thank you one and all.
The format of the book with plenty of pictures and different view points gives a great overview of the long journey from the kernel of an idea to our new stadium...can't wait to see it in real life!

My copy arrived yesterday and it looks really well produced. I am looking forward to reading it and seeing the journey it took to get to Lionel Road and learning about the skills and talents of those who made it happen. An uplifting surprise to receive it amidst the all gloom of lockdowns etc. Well done BU.

If you're a BU member and we have your correct address you'll be getting it Nick.

I'm also waiting for mine to arrive.
Got the e-mail , the lady logans are on standby to let me know if the postman knocks or the truck driver delivers

I received mine yesterday and am very pleased to read it.

It does make my contribution, bucket collecting on New Road before matches, insignificant against the efforts of others without whom we would not have a club to support.

Well done Bees United and to those few who made such great efforts on our behalf for our great club.

Your efforts and others like you Rod were far from insignificant. It typified the determination and resolve that helped save the club (as the fans have done in the past). Without those efforts in the dark old days we may never have got to Matthew Benham and the good times we now enjoy.

Looking forward to receiving my book!

Nice of BU to update me via email with:

"We have been having some distribution problems and rather than rely on Royal Mail we are using alternative systems. One of the companies provides the extra service of emailing you to let you know a package is on its way. But they don’t tell you what’s inside. We know some of you have already received such a message. If you do it’s good news, it means you will soon be getting your book and we hope you will find it was worth waiting for."

For anyone else in the same position, I've had emails from Principle Logistics (Flightlg) and Hermes/Whistl about my delivery. At first I thought they were spam messages as I didn't think I'd ordered anything from either logistics company. But I guess it's good to be kept informed.

John, PM me with your name and address and I'll get it checked for you. If we had your correct postal address you should be okay

Yes it was a bit confusing racking the brain wondering what I ordered. However BU sent an email a couple of days ago explaining the mystery.

Received mine yesterday. Started reading it last night and couldn't get to bed until I'd finished it ! A superb production that reflects great credit on all who put it together. It reflects even greater credit on all those fans who gave so much time and effort to keeping the dreams alive in the dark days of Noades.
Reflecting on all the obstacles that had to be overcome it's astonishing that our magnificent stadium actually made it from conception to completion. I can't wait to take up my seat but, in the meantime, am proud and humble to share my passion for the Bees with so many other enthusiasts, not least the brilliant Mr Benham !

I enjoyed reading the book. Although two questions remain.

What happened to the drone after the staduim opened?
When is the monorail coming? I'm still waiting. 😆

Mine has arrived in the building but I haven't collected it yet.

If it's not number 1 then there's going to be some proper kicking-off here.

If its delivered by hermes, use the tracker/email and the link should give you a photograph of where it has been left.
