The football gods have decreed us to win 3-1 (beni 2 and Ollie)....scenes at GP after that will never be seen again.....Brentford are now greatness personified and the world will never be the same again ;)

My heart says you're right about the score, but it's had a few daggers through it before. I can't predict it myself so I'm trusting you and going along with 3-1. :ball: As for the predicted scenes, please Bees, let's show a bit of respect for the dead and dying and try not to hurt anyone else. If it goes our way, celebrate of course but please keep it safe. No need to drag ourselves down to Liverpool's level. The world will be watching so let's keep it classy, show them how it's done and try not to delay getting in to this new stadium any longer than we have to. ;)

Yes you did and I thought at the time I wonder if by the law averages he’s going to be right for once and fair play you’ve got it spot on.I feel a mental night is on the cards pitty I can’t be there to witness the scenes.

8 previous attempts and 8 failures.
Is it the Brentford team that played Swansea or the one that played Barnsley that turns up?
My heart tells me it will be champagne stuff with us winning 2-0 . Said getting both goals and we could have had a hatful more just like our game at GP.
MOM Said for his goals and his brilliant all round play.
My head on the other hand has doubts, but my heart wins the day.

I don't know what to think about this one. I'm quite relaxed and feel the getting here and winning the last game at GP was vital. It's all too surreal without any of us there. I also worry that we will go up and not be able to see Premier League games at LR. I hate watching on the TV so I have mixed feelings. That being said, if we play as we can do I think we will win this by two clear goals. Play ala Barnsley and we will lose by two. I think we will win this time!!!

I have been a Brentford fan for more than 50 years so I know the score regarding play offs etc.
That said I have never been so confident of pulling one off as I am about this one
It's only the tripe down the river after all ...and we have already smashed them twice this season
2-0 Bees

Bees have won the Champions league, beating AC Milan in the final, Gremio the Copa Libertadores and then the Bees have beaten Al-Sadd (Qatar) and then Gremio to become the Fifa World club Champions. I'm hoping this bodes well, and we can out chant Leeds with 'we are the Champions of the World' next season. (Subuteo games!). COYB's.

It's a one off game. Anything could happen and Subbuteo form goes out of the window unfortunately. :(

I really don’t mind - this season has been the best Bees I can recall irrespective of the play-off final result - but I also hope we smash Fulham. Play-off aside, bearing Fulham is always tasty.

If we play like Wednesday and for the majority of the resumption fixtures we should win. However both sides are fairly well matched so it could go either way - as much as I dont want this to happen I can see a penalty shootout after 1-1 draw

Out of interest @HarefieldFFC how many of this year's squad/likely team for Tues, were involved in the 2017/18 final??

I read this earlier-9 I think.
 Thanks.
Wonder how much that will help them??..........
Work to be done by our 'backroom team' to ensure our group of youngsters continue to express themselves I reckon...

Hopefully Said can produce a one man wrecking ball on Fulham. I actually fear that Fulham’s experience throughout their squad might unfortunately prove telling. 2-1 loss. Hope I’m wrong. Come on Bees.

I have every subbuteo version of Brentford produced since 1950s and a few more besides. (Fulham are a more common team in subbuteo as they mostly shared kit references with West Germany until the mid 1980s).

Did you know: that no team who has played in red & white stripes has EVER won a PO final at Wembley?

We'd be the 'home team' so yes.

So as Fulham's away kit is red they'll be playing in the borrowed Chelsea kit they wore at GP in December?

Neither has any wearing purple and green stripes. So what?

Quite a few teams play in red and white but none that I can think of play in the strip you mentioned. Strange tone and turn of phrase in your response

Players have had a good 6 days rest, if we turn up and play as we can then we are a better side than Fulham. I can see our front 3 causing Fulham all sorts of problems and they are better defenders than Fulham front 3 if that makes sense. I believe TF knows his team already but Fulham are awaiting on a couple of injured players. We seem more settled than Fulham after the 2nd play off games. But Fulham are a good side but they seem to have more weaknesses than us.

4-1 to Bees. Ollie, Said x 2 and Pinnock. I am confident without being arrogant that we will do the job.

You’re probably right because it sounds like a fact, but what did Stoke wear when they beat us in Cardiff?

No way, mate. Me too. Got a mention in the Guardian too here (scroll about halfway down): https://www.theguardian.com/artandd...aders-share-their-favourite-attic-discoveries . I also handpainted the latest team. I'll put a few pics on Flickr. Send me a message!

The closer it gets, the more pessimistic I'm becoming for no reason at all!!! If we do lose, I won't be on GPG or ****ter for a couple of weeks. The over the top reactions will be sickening.

After all those previous rubbish days out at Wembley and Cardiff, all the money spent getting there and back etc, we're bound to win tonight in front 90,00 empty seats and once we've all finished jumping up and down in our living rooms the realisation that it's going to be a long time before we can stroll along and watch us play the teams many of our mates support the disappointment will kick in. 1-0 (Watkins) 80th minute (Match of the Day though eh....? ) :)

Best of luck tonight all you Bees. You should have gone up automatically but at the end of the day who cares how u go up once you get up. First league game in your new stadium in the PL would be a nice way to start off. Anyway, good luck from this Villa fan who has a soft spot for Brentford.

Like many others I have had the 3-1 score line in my head since we knew it was Foolham. I seem to remember a few people predicting this exact match upon the return too. I just hope the team do everything they can to approach in a positive and energetic manner, like many of our games this season the start/tempo will be massive. C'mon you bees, c'mon BREEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNTTTTTTTTFOOOOOOOORRDD!
