In the absence of Voice someone had to start this thread.

It will be tough. They have a lot of attacking threat in Vardy, Daka and Iheanacho and they seem to have hit some form. However, whilst it will be difficult to keep a clean sheet but if any team can it is us, they do concede a lot and I anticipate Toney and Bryan with support from midfield causing them problems. I remember watching them play West Ham and Antonio came them all sorts of problems.

They have beaten us twice in recent years in the FA Cup but this will be different ball game with a far stronger side and I hopeful we will have enough just win 2-1 especially being at home. Toney and Bryan the scorers.

Rico v Vardy in those one on one races is going to be worth the admission price alone. The tactical set up is also going to be very interesting, they press almost better than Liverpool and tortured the United players last week not giving them a second to think.

For what it's worth I expect our two defensive midfielders to sit deeper and Raya in particular is likely to be our "number 10" again to Toney, Mbeumo and one or two other runners but we'll be careful not to allow their counter attack.

Nothing to fear but a very tough game, I think it will be high scoring and I'll go for 2-2.

It will be too risky for us to go at them from the start so I expect us to sit deep and choose our moments carefully and try to crank things up in the last 30 mins hoping LC tire after their midweek trip. 100% concentration and perhaps the breaks will go our way this time. 1-1 at 80 mins then we go for it late on. I’ve not seen a game yet win loose or draw where we don’t look , to a man, deserving of Premiership status. Got a feeling we will lose but we will run them close. 2-1 them. Every game a learning experience. And we will still finish top half.

Difficult one to predict. Yes they put four past Man U last time out but, with a fifth of the season completed, we’re above them in the table which must say something. I think this definitely winnable, with home advantage making a real difference. Hope Ajer is fit to start because (good as Zanka was) I think we really missed the option of his Dalsgaard type surging runs from the back against Chelsea. Provided we develop a stronger tendency to hit the back of the net, rather than woodwork, I’m going for a 2-0 Bees win.

Easy to understand why but sensing a bit of complacency creeping into some of these predictions. We have done well but it’s taken monumental effort thus far.

I suppose it’s easy to underestimate the challenge of this game as well, especially after the opposition’s relatively slow start.

Make no mistake though, this Leicester team is absolutely fantastic and it will be a massive task for our players.

Starting with their manager. Rodgers has been successful at two of Britain’s biggest clubs in Celtic and Liverpool. But to then go and take over at a club with relatively lower resources and expectations and to successfully disrupt the top four / big six as he has done with Leicester is his biggest achievement for me. It’s overshadowed by the title under Ranieri - but to win the FA Cup last season at a time when those other clubs are so dominant was remarkable.

Then you look at their squad. Vardy has won the golden boot. For all the fanfare around Salah this season, Vardy has the same number of league goals. Jonny Evans is a brilliant captain who has won everything domestically, plus a Champions league. They have several other title winners still in their squad, plus a series of top internationals (Tielemans and Castagne for example) and even their fringe players have so much promise, like third-choice striker Daka who scored 4 goals in Europe midweek.

We have shown we can compete with these top teams with the right game plan, 100% effort and the the right combination confidence and humility on the pitch, if we can hit the mark with these criteria then we have the talent on the pitch to get a positive result.

Given we are at home one edge we can and must use to our advantage is the atmosphere. The BCS must be like it was vs Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea. Even if it gives the players just an extra 1% it’s worth it. No repeats of the Brighton match where the energy just drained from the stadium as the match went on. We all have to be on it.

As I said on another thread, until we are safe these are all cup finals. Nearly everyone below us in the table picked up points today. We have to roar the players on as if our lives depend on every single available point.

Great experience from both the Liverpool and Chelsea matches, whereby as the game goes on, we seem to get stronger and they get weaker.

So we need to impose ourselves progressively, without getting behind.

Yeah!.....fearful of that!

Analytics guys .... being a game of fine margins ....... a couple of suggestions to give us an edge:-

1. Put AWAY fans along the side somewhere...leaving both ENDS solely for Bees fans (hopefully East end will then become as noizy as West end.)
(I was told early on that Bees fans would be at each end... But, they omitted to say that one end would also be for away fans)

2. Play the vast majority of home games (TV excepted) with an evening kick-off under the lights.
