Really looking forward to this one.
Having dispatched the neighbours and Huddersfield (touch wood) I’m confident this will be the game where anyone that wasn’t paying attention suddenly realises that we are a real threat that isn’t going away.
Apart from us being the far superior side also in our favour Forest have to play on the Sunday (Luton H) and Wednesday (Reading H) in the preceding week where as we have a full weeks rest having played on Saturday.
Uncanny the way the cards are falling into place.
Read ‘em and weep QPHa.

You know this game has now been postponed, right?
What with us still being in the fa cup.

As others have said this will be moved mate. So I am going to have to change the thread title so as not to mislead people. Will try and remember to change it when the new date is known.

Of course, Sorry.
Just delete the thread if you like nocoat.
Getting a tad over excited.
Last time I start a thread.

Not that we should care but Notts is only applicable to County, not to Nottingham Forest.

Three German colleagues wanted to take in a game at GP before season's end so we picked this one not realising it was cup weekend, they are now hoping for a home draw for Bees.

They are valid for the game in question not the date in question.
If you can make the rearranged fixture then use your ticket, but if you can't I do believe you are entitled to a refund.

Depends on who we play, if at home. If it's, say, Liverpool then good luck in getting tickets for non members.

On the official Facebook page: Due to our participation in the Fourth Round of The Emirates FA Cup our match with Nottingham Forest at Griffin Park will now be played on Tuesday 28 January in a 7.45pm kick-off.

Well, a game v Leicester won't be too shoddy,
that's if it's kept as a Saturday game.

We've played teams when we've had a full weeks rest and the opposition haven't, and vice versa, and I haven't overly found it's made much of a difference.

I don't know if there's much statistical research into the effect of it, but I've never left a game thinking 'We'd have won that had we had more days rest compared to them'.

So why wasn't Forest v Reading played months ago then?
......I don't know. Arguably it should have been lol

Feb we already have quite a hectic schedule, and March is lighter on the midweeks, but they're tough games in Weds, Fulham and WBA in a row. Placing the game here makes sense for us IMO. I just hope that we play say 8-9 of the strongest XI against Leicester and 10 against Forest (with one of the CB's rotating out for whoever missed Leic).

A possible saving grace for the Leicester cup tie is that that is moved for the TV to Monday evening. That presumably would mean we can"t play Forest on the Tuesday. In the eyes of the powers that be, what takes preference, TV companies or the EFL?

Brentford wouldn’t of announced this move if they didn’t already know the day Leicester was being played.

Leicester are playing on the preceding Wednesday and the following Tuesday, the game won't be moved off the Saturday. 100%

We've got a home match that day - what's the problem?
Sinead at the club rang me earlier and said I had to re arrange!.I have just spoke to Joanne who said we can still attend on the day :)

they are 99% sure it will be on the Saturday,Just not sure what time kick off will be.

Sorry about the confusion

The EFL Cup Semi is on Tuesday 28th ON TV
Leics play a televised PL game on Weds 22nd ON TV

So No discussion here

Brentford v Leicester HAS TO BE ON THE SATURDAY Even if it is ON TV
