Will be a tough old struggle Hopefully with a bit of confidence returning and maybe some players back we will edge it 1-0, or 2-1. It would be fantastic to think that we could win ten of our remaing games. Well that's my target anyway.

A really tough 2-1 win. Good luck to Stoke's analysts trying to plan against our possible line up. I havn't got a clue who will start. I'd guess Raya, Dalsgaard and Janelt , but the other eight ?

2-0 Bees. Last night was a big win that we needed. Defensively we will be on our game again on Saturday and will be a tough but eventually comfortable win.

My Stoke mate says they haven’t won away for 9 games and that was at Wycombe.

Brentford 3-1 Stoke
Mbeumo 2,

Sorenson & McClean sent off.

Their fans on the oafcake before the last time we played were all predicting we'd thrash them. They're at it again. Unfortunately, that can only mean 0-2 and renewed meltdown on here.

Another clean sheet. Many players confident to score now, so 5 nil to the SuperBees.

Maybe not 5 grepo, but ...........

Brentford needed that win against Sheffield Wednesday to get back on the horse. They had looked out of sorts before that, and you get the feeling Thomas Frank has steered them back on track.

Stoke will probably find them with a bit more confidence now and would have preferred this game to be a few days earlier! They have not been good on the road lately either. Has to be a home win for me.

Prutton predicts: 2-0 (Sky Bet odds)

We deserve some luck against this lot, they got lucky against us earlier in the season hanging on after we gifted them 3 goals but so many times they have had ridiculous luck against us. The night of the invisible red cards, the Alf Grey fiasco, the Play off final with two deflected goals etc.

Payback time guys....for all the hurt of previous times.....Bees romp...4-0.....Bryan with all 4 goals as well....up the table we go....You Reds...
Such positivity warms the cockles. Unfortunately, even by thumping both Stoke tomorrow and Norwich next week we can't climb up the table any further than we already are.

Struggling to beat a woeful Wednesday for 75 mins doesn't inspire me I'm afraid - stoke will be a lot tougher - doom and gloom to return after s false dawn - potters 0-2

Will be a lot trickier than Wednesday. I have a feeling Bryan will grab another and we'll come out 1-0 winners!

Sheff Wednesday, midweek was a big win and hopefully it's the end of the bad run. The biggest positive was Winston Reid; I'd always expect us to score goals, but defensively we've made it difficult for ourselves.

We have to be honest, Sheffield Wednesday were woeful and it's hard to see that team staying up. We got the job done and fair play to the lads and coaching team, although there were some nervy moments.

However we'll know a lot more about where we currently are as a team after the next two games. Stoke aren't as high as I expected them to be, but on their day they're a very physically imposing, tactical team and O'Neill is a top manager, who will have all our weaknesses identified.

Norwich are obviously a step up from most teams, but starting tomorrow, if we're over this bad run we'll see it against Stoke, if midweek was more to do with the opposition, then we're in for a bad day tomorrow.

Lets hope it's the bad run is over, TF is able to compete with O'Neill's tactics, we remain defensively strong and win by a few clear goals.

Good luck Bees

Of all the teams in the division they and Barnsley seem to consistently have the measure of us.
Since the play off defeat in 2002, we have played Stoke 6 times, wining 2, drawing 2 and losing 2.

We‘ve also won 2 and lost 2 of our last 4 matches with Barnsley.

I don’t consider either have the measure of us.

Stoke have only won 3 of their last 15 games and have only kept 3:clean sheets in their last 12 games. With Toney back, JDS back and Reid doing the business at centre back, we should be backing ourselves for a win if we are to have realistic ambitions of automatic promotion.

As an aside.
I have just watched bees v stoke on main web site from 1992.
It was a terrific game with a terrific atmosphere. I remember it as though it was yesterday
Same 2-0 will do tomorrow
Have you got a link?
Had a look, but couldn’t see it......

Ignore everything I’ve just said.

John Brooks is the referee. He’s the prat who missed Bidwell elbow Raya away to Swansea.

Expect an aerial bombardment and Stoke getting away with murder at free kicks and corners.

Glad I don't live in your bubble.

We were brilliant against Wednesday, main players injured, players out of position and the four most under fire players pulled it out of thhe hat (scorers and Jenson)

Win both and we’re potentially only a point off top or at worst 4 points with 12 to play regardless of other results. At the very least it would be likely to help create a gap to third if Watford and Swansea don’t get full points.

They've certainly had the measure of us in the two games since O'Neill took over.

This game and Norwich will define the remainder of the season IMO.

4 points minimum from the two.

So im going for a solid 2-0 home win. Reid looks like a rock at the back. If we can get Pinnock back on his A game then i cant see teams scoring against us.

Geet the injured lads back and the front three firing again and things will be looking up.

I hope that IRA supporter and refuse to wear a shirt with a poppy on it , does he not realise Southern Irish soldiers lost their lives in World War 1, is not playing, he got away with stone cold penalty with the push in the back of Watkins last season

2 nil win for the Bees

Score first and we win. If they score first it could be a long afternoon so I'm opting for 1-0 (Ghoddos).

fortunately we didn't really struggle so all v positive.. Stoke not in great form and beatable. Back four of midweek looks v capable of dealing with what Stoke can offer.. 2-0 bees
