It's games like this that are must-wins. No point outplaying a top 2 side away and being unlucky not to win if you can't put WW away. I would hope for a comfortable 2-0. Wycombe will be physical but not in the cynical way Swansea were, more a sort of honest physicality with the odd tinge of brutality. Presuming we defend the dead-ball stuff it will be Toney and Mbeumo settling this.

After the frustration of Swansea, we’ll make sure with this one. 4-0 (Toney 2, Canos and Dasilva).

That's my way of thinking.

3-0

Toney, Dasilva, Fosu.

They are fighting for survival, it won't be the walk over that some expect, I'm sure Thomas is well aware we will have a scrap on our hands, Just look what happened last night with Sheff Utd & Man U, These are the kind of results that do turn the form book on it's head, On paper & form it should be 3 points for us, but anything can happen!!!.

I predict a very hard game. We sneak it 1 nil. Header from Ethan at a set piece late in the game. Crowd - usual 200.

Really difficult game against tough opponents, so 7-0 to the Bees. Anything less will feel like a loss! :bounce: :bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

Might not be pretty or easy but hoping for win at 3-0 after early goal. Ivan, Josh and Vitaly to score.

The division's in form team, just entered the top ten of all-time Championship unbeaten runs, fresh from a couple of weeks rest but also 2 games back and looking match sharp, widely tipped as the best footballing side and destined for the Prem, vs a team of hopeful sluggers destined for relegation?

I mean...

This has got 0-1 written all over it, no?

Bees to win !!!
Not bothered about the score but I'm desperate to see Ivan back on the score-sheet again. He's well overdue for a brace at least.

It won't be pretty. It won't be easy. They will set up not to concede and will rely on dead ball opportunities. Important not to let them dictate the pace of the game or it could become very frustrating. They are no mugs.

Can’t predict. Will be tough. How good if Ivan can bag a couple though..

Wycombe performed well against Spurs, but then tired in the last 10 minutes.

It may be another of those games where we get to 1-0, but can’t get the all important 2nd.

However, I think we’ll be very strong in the last 15 minutes, and then get to 3-0, with late goals.

5 nil. No one else has gone for that score. We will be hungry and much better than them.

All comes down to how clinical are. If we score early on we could go on to win by 2 or 3. If this does not happen and we remain level for a long period could end up being very tight and squeaky bum time.

Just don't get all this negative talk. Wycombe are bottom of the table, guess why that is ! I can't imagine they will be coming to Lionel Road thinking they are in for an easy afternoon. Unless we have a complete meltdown can only see a comfortable win. It's about time we really tonked someone. This could be the one :bounce:😃

Heavy surface. Our passing game will move them around and wear them down. We should win but it's football.

I hope that we will be fired up following the injustice of Wednesday. My only real concern is that long unbeaten runs are often ended when least expected. Who would have thought Burnley would have ended Liverpools long home record, or that Sheffield United would put a stop to Man U's recent good run.

It's not negative talk just being realistic. From their perspective they have played us twice this season and drawn twice. If I was their manager I would be reminding them of this fact and pointing to the recent exploits of Sheff Utd at MU and Burnley at Liverpool.
