Nope. Lack of tolerance is lazily allocating racist motivations to the opinions of people that somebody doesn’t agree with. It’s done to shut down debate and/or shame others into acquiescence. To paraphrase what goes on, it’s about nonsense like ‘agree with me or you’re part of the problem’, or ‘only a racist could possibly disagree with me so that makes you a racist’ etc etc. It happens all the time on here. But you know that.
I do know what you mean but I also know we've been debating this all day and I don't think any view or avenue of debate has been shut down.

Isn't this what we want?

Ah you're just taking the piss, surely nobody is this stupid?

Please refer yourself to your last sentence, since you are replying to a message that says the players kneeling have told you exactly why they are kneeling, and exactly what they are NOT doing it for
Oh dear... here come the insults... time to move on to save you embarassing yourself further.

Martin Luther King took the knee a long time before BLM
This was, according to the picture, in prayer, which Christians have been doing for a couple of thousand years I believe. I don't think it has been appropriated by any movement. Still not sure what it represents at the moment, a gesture of solidarity I suppose.

You’re welcome to your opinion but nothing I have said is ridiculous.
Who said anything about people who “travel for in my circle”?
The people I refer to come are customers of mine and come from various walks of life. One lady is a grandmother of mixed race children and she told me that since the advent of BLM etc her grandchildren had suffered a significant increase in racial abuse. There are a lot of people sick to death of taking the knee, me included. I don’t need it rammed down my throat every time I watch a game of football. Brentford FC drew more attention to the issue of racism by stopping kneeling than actually continuing to do so. It’s fact that the BLM movement have other agendas and therefore my comment is not ridiculous. You are welcome to your opinion but equally, am entitled to mine.

BLM hasn't increased racism. I@t's not even the issue here.
It's because people are fighting back and fighting for basic rights and change the status quo that the far right has been mobilised. See the rise of Orban in Hungary, Italy, France, Trump in America, etc etc. As more people stand up to discrimination, the more desperate the establishment will get and make greater use of peoples fears through racism.

It sounds to me like you are advocating "shut up and sit down ... don't stir up trouble .. I want a quite life". We are beyond that I'm afraid.

Embarrassing myself? You are comparing a peaceful gesture, predating whatever "Marxist" organisation you wish to attribute it to, to a gesture that cosigns genocide in the name of Nazi-ism.
Let me know when whatever organisation you have made up in your head is on a murderous warpath.

If Premiership footballers kneeling is akin to Nazi salutes, does that mean Jordan Henderson is a modern day Hitler?

Ah yes the dreaded changing of minds.

Note (not aimed at yourself VftB), it is perfectly fine to review decisions and change your mind from your original opinion. It doesn't hurt. Honest.
Yes yes yes but let’s be honest ...have they REALLY changed their mind or more likely it’s been forced on them to change their minds....apart from Ivan who stood his ground....I think we all know the real answer eh ;)

For anyone that believes the likes of Nigel Farage that taking the knee is a Marxist gesture I've got a bridge in Kew to sell you.
