I'm really sorry people but due to a bit of a cock-up - and going at low tide - we need to reduce the number of people on the boat. We need volunteers (40 in total) to not go on the boat and receive a full refund.
If you are happy to do so please send an email to feedback@bias.org.uk with your order number and you will receive a full refund.

I am so sorry about this. I will of course stand down myself.

Thanks for your understanding

Could you not ask for say 20 ex-Paddock fatties to only disappoint half the amount of people? Or maybe run a dry boat and leave the beer behind?:(

Surely the Thames Barrier could be closed for this occasion? Close it just after high tide and you'll get there with a full-load without problem.

File it under sh*t happens Captain. You’ve always done a cracking job organising the boats.

I hadn't thought of that. (I've tried almost everything else)

That would rate as the greatest achievement of Brentford Naval history, surely?

There’s been a very good response Bill. People have been wonderfully selfless and stepped aside. We still need around 10 more. We are close.

Would a 24 hour fast by those still going on the boat do the trick..............??..................

To be fair to Bill, no point him stepping aside as he's very light, so won't make much difference to be fair.

Yep, we're there. We are down to 150 and are good to sail.

A huge thank you to all those who volunteered to step down. I am truly very sorry it came to that and I am extremely grateful.

I won't be sailing myself but for the 150 still going I hope you have fair weather and a wonderful trip. I'm planning on meeting you at North Greenwich.

Also, a huge thanks to Hobbsy at BIAS for all his efforts in managing this.

COYB!! 3 points Sunday.

Going to be very heavy rain all day Saturday. With the river rising over night, will it be as you were. All board ?

Long shot................Does anyone have a spare ticket for Sunday? It's for me. I'm a ST holder. Would have bought via the club but was meant to be seeing my son on Sunday up until 2.30pm. My ex wife has told me I can only see him until 12noon so I'll easily be able to make it to the ground now.

You're on the wrong thread. There's a thread with the "Tickets" prefix that you might have more luck on.
