Wanted to help change the mood slightly and post some generally encouraging facts about our prospects on Saturday. Didn’t know where else to put it.

The season is not over. We are right in this.

- In the last 9 games we’ve conceded 3 goals, one of which was from an unfortunate penalty. Pontus is not a sh*t defender and captain overnight.

- We are the league’s top scorers, and have come from behind loads this season.

- Our aggregate score vs Bournemouth this season is 3-2 in our favour, having played them away twice. We also finished 10 points above them.

- We have the home game to come, and we have the best home record of anyone in the Championship outside of the top two.

- Henry and Dalsgaard are back.

Plenty to be optimistic about!

BFC1997 said "encouaging facts".... please
It is encouraging- we’ve made the final 3 out 6 times despite not taking a lead into the second leg.

Yes, it was meant to be generally encouraging. The hope is still there.

Thanks. Seems bizarre to me that it's difficult to find the press conference for the biggest game in the football league to date

They've been going up really late recently, often on the morning of games.

I'm not sure if it's to ensure that opponents can't learn anything from them?

"A team that straddled the third and fourth tiers until promotion to the Championship seven years ago have become victims of their own success"

Ain't no truer words been written. Chiefly reporting on our own fans.

I just hope TF has put in a very serious and focused vibe after the last game. I personally like the Carlos Queiroz and FC Porto's aggressive from the first second's push and hard play the no-nonsense type of football. We have the players to outplay Bournemouth but it comes down to the coach in my opinion to choose the right players. Some players didn't play as well as they can... in my opinion certainly a mental thing. And again it will come down to the preparation towards the 2nd match mentally and tactically, and the line-up.

Do we know whether the Bees players spent last night at the Novotel ? Or indeed Bournemouth? Reason being, received a text from a friend living on Ealing Road to say at 3:40 this morning, they were woken up by the sounds of around two dozen fireworks, somewhere around Ealing Road/Great West Road.

Brilliant, I needed that.
Also we were 1 nil down last year after the first leg and won through to the final.

I just took a walk past LR; area feels very tense which is to be expected. Team bus parked up so maybe having breakfast within the stadium.
