Maybe has an attitude problem his manager at Boro said he could be PL or non league it is up to him, but whenever I have seen him he has impressed,
more so than Johnson.

I wouldn’t worry about that unless a team like West Ham or Everton come in. As long as we are the only serious suitor he’ll prefer us over Forest.

There was a similar situation with Toney. He was asked in an interview about signing for the bees and he turned it into a public plea for a premier league club. No issue with that. Shows ambition which is what you want in a player

i suspect our DOFs use deeper analysis than watching him on telly

For a player to be valued at £15-20m in the championship, you would expect them to be tearing it up regularly.

Don't doubt he is talented, but massively overpriced at those figures. I'm sure Newcastle will pay it though. Can't see BFC will pay that.

Forest want about ten times what we paid for Watkins. Five times what we paid for Said. Or nearly three times what we paid up front for Toney. For that I think we need rather more than he’s offering right now. We’re only even vaguely in the running because we have PL money and we’d not have gone much over £5m for him if we’d been in the Championship where he would at least have been able to come straight in to start.

I have watched him several times and concentrated on him because of our reported interest and he has never stood out, Spence has looked better.

twas ever thus... just our targets are no longer £5,000 buys from Cambridge or a £500 centre forward from Bognor Regis. So subjective whatever the level of our targets then or now.

Half the fun of following a club rather than football in general.

Happy to go with the clubs assessment, depending if other clubs make offers I would expect he will go for £10 Million + add ons, but he
doesn't at this stage look anything like the player Josh Da Silva was for example last year in the Championship.
