Nasty piece of work just like his manager yet the BBC tells me:
Ivan Toney was fortunate to go unpunished for catching Fernandinho with his studs as the City midfielder lay on the ground shortly before half-time.

When I first saw his face he looked like he'd just remembered he left the gas hob on at homeA spineless, easily influenced ref
Quite simply he was a w***er. Well done ref another member of the premiership boys club ; you knob. When I first saw his face he looked like he'd just remembered he left the gas hob on at homeI thought he'd do well to deal with the constant bitching, diving and moaning from the City players, sadly he let them do it all game. Oh for a referee who puts these players in their place for once.
The ref should've sent himself off for that tackle on Jensen.Quite simply he was a w***er. Well done ref another member of the premiership boys club ; you knob.
...... probably an incentive for not cancelling his contract....just to qualify.....with Amazon Prime....and not BFC.He was given MoM on Amazon Prime so to that extent, he was.
That was a worrying moment. The commentary confirmed that VAR looked at it. I think what helped is that it appeared that he changed his mind about stamping on him and that minimised the contact. Could easily have been given a red imho.Nasty piece of work just like his manager yet the BBC tells me:
As am i. Great performance from players down to the fans. Glad i follow a club like Brentford , rather than follow a club like them that get the championship bought for them by a load of oil rich Arabs. Always proud to be a bee but so proud tonight. We put out a well depleted team, yet it was good enough to give them a game. Was worried that we’d be embarrassed on the pitch and depleted in the stands but both exceeded my rather pessimistic expectations.
Another great night to be savoured at the BCS. Very proud of my club and it’s fans.
So Cromerbee, what do you dislike?Fair play, Thompson made a couple of decent challenges but I’m afraid he isn’t good enough. Jensen has been reasonable apart from one bloody awful free kick.
Grow a pair mate, tell him how you feel and don’t be so niceFair do’s. Crack on.
OK. I only saw Cup Final victories in 1956 and '69, league title in 1968 with an all-English team, and European Cup Winners Cup in 1970 in the pissing rain in Vienna.I glory in the fact that you will never experience what Bees' fans experienced tonight, and have done for many of the last few years - complete and utter pride in a club that through sheer hard work, daring to be different and collective spirit manages to eek out the very maximum from the talent and resources available.
You are and will always live in the shadow of your neighbours, all your money won’t buy you status or class. Law of averages states you will win a ECL one day but you’ll never have the admiration or win hearts and minds as like Chelsea and PSG and a few Chinese clubs you can buy success but not respect.OK. I only saw Cup Final victories in 1956 and '69, league title in 1968 with an all-English team, and European Cup Winners Cup in 1970 in the pissing rain in Vienna.
Boo hoo for you, you just don't get IT and never will.OK. I only saw Cup Final victories in 1956 and '69, league title in 1968 with an all-English team, and European Cup Winners Cup in 1970 in the pissing rain in Vienna.
He was fortunate though...Nasty piece of work just like his manager yet the BBC tells me:
I meant notionally rather than empirically. Hence "arguably".Best side in Europe on current form is Bayern Munich. Man City are not far behind though!.
Brentford fans were brilliant tonight. As was our team.
I can't see how it was any worse than what Fernandinho did himself a minute before - in fact Fernandinho's was worse (I'd say). Bit silly but funny that he got a chance for "payback" so quickly. Think it was sensibly handled, would've been a farcical red. That was a worrying moment. The commentary confirmed that VAR looked at it. I think what helped is that it appeared that he changed his mind about stamping on him and that minimised the contact. Could easily have been given a red imho.
Sorry? Don't understand the question! So Cromerbee, what do you dislike?

Guardiola praises 'perfect' City against Brentford
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praises his side's "perfect performance" against Brentford's "incredible organisation" after they beat the Bees 1-0.www.bbc.co.uk
Hopefully that works lol its peps interview after the game. It's all you need to hear. To hear the respect he gives us. He know they were in a tough game last night.
The lads everyone of them were outstanding. Did their jobs. How many saves did Alvaro have to make? Great organised defensive work and unlucky not to knick a goal.
Fair play to Pep. When he first mentioned our approach to the game, I thought it was going to be a moan-fest. But far from it. Very complimentary...
Nice comments but if we had of scored a goal from a late corner would he had been as complimentary?![]()
Agree, but MC did not have the cutting edge of Liverpool unlike previous games. Credit goes to our coaching staff on that one.So we've now played the best 3 teams at home with an aggregate of 3-5. Not too many teams will better that I suspect!
And an interesting contrast in style and quality between those 3. For me, City were far superior in terms of game management and technical ability, but their obsession with possession can work against them as it makes it easier for teams to get behind the ball and be organised, which we did very well last night. It does, however, mean it's very difficult to get back into a game because they don't let you have the ball!
Man for man I thought we were great last night, as well as can have been expected given the opposition and the number of players missing. However, I'm afraid I don't really agree with the comments along the lines of "we need to play like that against the smaller teams". Against Villa we will have lots more of the ball and will need to take the initiative, especially at home. It's a totally different game to having 10 men behind the ball and keeping our shape for 90 minutes.
Full strength I think we might have taken a point.immensely proud this morning to be a part of watching that game.
A second string side goes toe to toe with the English equivalent with the “ Harlem Globe Trotters” and lose by a solitary goal.
Every single one of them fought to the last.
The crowd was fantastic but like others disagree with the Mandy chants , They were classless and we are better than that.
Makes you think what the game would of been like with our full strength team…
Fully agree, if we can beat Villa we will be back on track with 3 points from last 3 games. Not going to be straightforward though is it, it never is for us.Tremendous night ….the players and crowd couldn’t have done more…a heroic defeat….but it is another defeat and we need to start scoring goals again…3 blanks on the run is not the sort of form which will keep us up…we need to keep Ivan up front as he is far too deep at the moment….hopefully a few players coming back soon could make the difference

Nope, I just respond to silly comments, it’s fairly random, I don’t pick out one person.Have I been selected for tonight's argument? LOL
Is that really the best you saw last night, they both proved tonight the exact opposite of what you say.Fair play, Thompson made a couple of decent challenges but I’m afraid he isn’t good enough. Jensen has been reasonable apart from one bloody awful free kick.
I assume VAR looked at this and deemed it not a yellow,
Nothing expert about it, blatant tactical fouls not punished isn’t expert, it’s weak, piss poor, star struck refereeing.proud of the performance and atmosphere.
i counted 5 fernandinho fouls, they expertly stopped our counters with fouls - ref did nothing to control that.
That's a shame. I had felt special until you punctured my bubble. Apologies for silliness also.Nope, I just respond to silly comments, it’s fairly random, I don’t pick out one person.

Yes, we played very well, as I said. Teams that don't defend effectively against City generally get thumped!Agree, but MC did not have the cutting edge of Liverpool unlike previous games. Credit goes to our coaching staff on that one.
And finally.....that reaction from our fans when they scored the second. Ok, it went to VAR, but to know that no Brentford fan really gave a toss and just wanted to show their appreciation to the team, made me so proud.
Great to see it officially tip over the 17,000 mark.Biggest league crowd since Easter 1972. The new permanent segregation fences put in recently have released around 50-60 extra seats for sale.

And a Bernardo.Kevin De Bruyne is some player, every time he had the ball I was sh*tting myself city would score. Makes things happen. I don’t think I’d ever appreciated how good he really is.
Can our recruitment team find us an under the radar one of those please![]()
