He’s the oldest member of the team and runs on fumes most games. I can’t see another contract being offered to him.

What I’ve been saying. He has been playing three games a week for a while now and I suspect he cannot cope with the workload and he is susceptible to injury. I also wonder if his fitness stats are declining.

All the comments from QPR fans harp on about us not having a player sent off suggesting that if it was 11v10 that they would have won. Have taken is a compliment that they believe that they would have won if they had an extra player. Funny how they all forget that we had a good goal disallowed though.

Interesting Ocean......although I remember once being shown a vast amount of pre-war programmes ....I picked one out at random (possibly around 1938?) and after 20 games the Bees were actually TOP of the First Division!

Good point.Yes, I hadn’t forgotten we were at the top level for a few years, but in my post, I did say ‘at this level’, i.e. Championship/Division 2.

Who knows, given the remarkable changes in our fortunes over the last few years, who knows what will happen in the next few years by 2030, as I desperately look for an electric recharging point near Lionel Road for my flat battery electric car to get home!!!

Well I have to say not content with winning the west london derby on Friday night imagine my surprise when watching the Quest highlights this evening and discovering we travelled to Carrow Road and shared the points again with Norwich!!

It was a totally different game pre-war. Imagine being top of the league now having only won 50% of the games etc...

It’s called rotation, and just about feasible using all 5 subs.
