I'd guess the postponement yesterday made this a first team squad training and fitness game, the real B Team will turn out for the next game.

How was the game? How were all the first teamers?
Btw, didn't Goode was said to be out for a long time? Good to see he was playing anyway
No shape. Poor accuracy with passing. Poor in front of goal. Unable to hold the ball. Little movement up front. Couldn't control midfield. Marcondes popped up all over the pitch so had a good run. Norgaard played. Forss ran about and scored a scrappy goal. Goode played. Looked big and slow in defence. Nice halftime chat with St. Albans corporate sponsor. Good presentation and reasonable camera work. Played better as a team and scored last few minutes after Marcondes and Norgaard were subbed. Pitch nice and green if a bit bobbly. Sun was shining. It was free to watch and I had nothing better to do.

Not much of a game at all. It was a game with backward and sideward passing without players taking responsibility. We had 3/4 chances that maybe we should have buried. Pitch was very bobbly that didn’t make it easy. Norsgaard and Marcondes should of both had goals but they had ok runouts

Sounds like a good all around day out at Clarence park :) Hope at least the minutes everyone got would be beneficial later on. And the most important it was free!

Exactly how I saw it. The penalty was a challenge outside the box sofreekick. Goode has found his level where being tall and able to boot a ball 50 yards are most important. His partner in defence will want to forget te game. Forss was too isolated. Norgaard looked getting back to fitness but was really good until ran out of steam. Stevens continues to impress

Minutes for Norgaard, Goode and Marcondes - and a chance to see Roeslev at left back?

Sure, but that's why i was surprised they were still on...

Please play Gordon at left back both at B level and if necessary at 1st team level. I hate watching right sided full backs at left back constantly stopping to come in on their right foot. Hate it!

All about minutes more than anything else. Thought we lacked a little creativity with Norgaard and Bidstrup both playing. Marcondes got about and looked the most likely to create something but should have scored, as should Norgaard. Pace went out of it second half. Bidstrup looks neat and tidy and not afraid to put a foot in. Think Mogensen was wasted on the wing and disappointed with Zamburek's contribution. Forss struggled a bit up front but stuck at it and got the goal. One of those games I think where if one of the early chances go in we score a hatful. Was surprised at Koutsimouka starting as would have thought we'd want to try one of KOC2, Hockenhull or Crama alongside Goode. He struggles at B team level generally so not too surprised by his contribution. Guess we wanted a left footer there.. Hopefully we'll get a stream of the B team proper in midweek and they'll put on a much better show!

People are being harsh on Goode , i thought he did well after so long out.
Don't remember any errors and passing was ok
Aye I thought Goode was one of our better players tbh, showed good passing from the back and looked to play it into the midfield.

I was kinda dossapointed in Mads Bidstrup, partly my fault for building him up to much based on the hype but he looked very flat footed and cumbersome.

i think that’s literally only his second or third proper game since coming back from popping his knee so sure there’s a lot more to come.

Aye don't want to be too harsh, in my head I had him down as a German Woodsy which is ridiculous!

Especially as he’s Danish.

I though Bidstrup was trailed as a DHM, given that's Nørgaard's position, can anyone who watched describe how the two were used together?

Nörgaard was playing as a number 6 and Bistrup was playing as an 8. Marcondes was the other 8. Zamburek was right wing.

Thanks. So, our default formation, not a 4-2-3-1. The reference to Woods got me a bit confused.

Marcondes was all over the pitch , often picking the ball up in the defensive third.

I'd heard that Bidstrup was a player who liked to pick up the ball and keep it moving, much like Woods was very good at doing.

Didn't see much quality sadly but allot of that can be put down to not playing in his usual position and just coming back from injury hopefully.

Yeah i don't get the flat-footed / cumbersome thing, thought he looked rapid actually. The problem was more on the ball, which I'll put down to the bobbly pitch. He didn't look much on the basis of that game, but looking forward to seeing more!

Think the whole team struggled with the pitch.
