Brentford B return to action on Tuesday 26 January when they travel to Wycombe Wanderers B in a behind closed doors fixture with kick-off at 1pm.

Wycombe launched their B Team project in August last year with the aim of helping to develop young players and ready them for First Team football at the club.

I wonder where they got that idea from.

Will probably be a very young side, with several B teamers being involved tomorrow.

Quite right just had a Senior moment or lock down has finally got me. Not sure what day of the week it is to be honest.

;) I know the feeling - but in my case nothing to do with lockdown. Senior moments come with being.....well, very senior.

No mention of a stream for this which is a shame. Sounds like Wycombe are planning on playing a few trialists, wonder if we will too?

Adams, Bidstrup, Gilbert, Haygarth, Hockenhull, Koutsimouka, Maghoma, Mogensen and Stevens all missing for one reason or another. 'Kin' 'ell!

I know they can’t include 3 keepers but is Andersson still with us?

I'm only flicking back to it every now and then, but there seems to be some decidedly "non-league" close control and passing on show, but they've had a while without a match.

We are being totally outmuscled and outplayed and Shepperd has kept us in the game

It was very physical 1st half. Looked like group of strangers on the pitch like it was at the start of the season

Clearly Stevens, Gilbert and Haygarth will have travelled with the first team but wonder if hockenhull has as well as we’re short of CB cover. Been no sign of Adams for a while, not sure if that’s injury or finding another club like hammar. Koutsimouka likely to be looking for one too as he’s not really up to the standard required. Still too early for mogensen, bidstrup and maghoma. Good to see O’Connor back though

Overall it was pretty sloppy; we badly missed the better players with the first team. As said above, Carre was decent (as usual IMHO), Hercules not bad, and a welcome return for O'Connor. Not sure which ones were the triallists, but they didn't stand out.

It was a WW reserve side really and some big units out there.

Last night was their first game for 16 days after positive Covid tests. They will have been getting some minutes into the first team squad players ahead of playing us on Saturday.

Stockdale, Clark, Trialist, Phillips, Stewart, Burley, Adeniran, Pattison, McCleary, Kashket, Samuel

At least those 5 are first team squad players, possibly more.

They also seem to have a player on loan from us too.
