New song for the B Team:

We’re by far the 2nd greatest team the world has ever seen

(to the tune of We’re by far the greatest team the world has ever seen)
Glad you clarified that.....
I've been racking my brain...

There was a thread on here last night started by a brand new forum member, said thread was treated with the disdain it deserved then removed by mods - don't touch it with a barge pole is my take :)
Thanks for that. I've seen there are similar books for untold other clubs !! So probably same content with a different cover for each club. Will leave alone. Thanks

slow ballad type one.
to the tune of Rose Marie (1924?) by Hammerstein (pre Rodgers)

From 0:38 on the below, sped a bit

Brentford FC I love you
Forever dreaming of you
No matter what I do I can’t forget you
Sometimes I wish that I had never met you
And yet, if I should lose you
T’would mean my very world to me
Of all the teams that ever were I choose you
To rule me, Brentford fc

A question chaps - and I know I'll get ripped for this! - but who/how actually did first call us 'just a bus stop in Hounslow'?! I was standing there last night happily singing it for all my might, but no idea who first said it. Ta!!

As Kurpt FM seem to be our resident DJs and there must be a fair few fans who are familiar with garage I'll share a chant me and some mates came up with in the pub a while ago to the tune of a DJ Luck & Mc Neat classic

Fulham are - Fulham are - Fulham are - Fulham are shiiiit
Fulham are - Fulham are - Fulham are - Fulham are shiiiit
Fulham are - Fulham are - Fulham are - Fulham are shiiiit
Fulham are - Fulham are - Fulham are - Fulham are shiiiit

Raya gives the ball to Pontus who passes to henry
he bombs it down the wing and crosses to Ivan tony
Ivan Tony - Ivan Tony - Ivan Ivan Ivan tony
Yo!
Benham with the stats and pounds - Benham with the stats and pounds
Benham with the stats and pounds - Benham with the stats and poooounds
Benham with the stats and pounds - Benham with the stats and pounds
Benham with the stats and pounds - Benham with the stats and poooounds

*repeat from start

I know Robert Elms had misguidedly quoted it on radio. Did he start it, or is it just something he picked up from being a RaRa?
Elmsy has jumped on pretty much every bandwagon of the last 45 years so no exception with this one.

We're always on last
We're always on last
Match of the Day
We're always on last

A versatile chant because if we're getting smashed, it can change to:

We'd rather be last
We'd rather be last
Match of the Day
We'd rather be last

Now that Abba are back is there any love for the Swedish connection with Pontus

Mamma Mia

Pontus Jansson, here I go again
My my, how can I resist you?
Pontus Jansson, does it show again?
My my, just how much Leeds miss you
Yes, they’ve been brokenhearted
Red since the day you parted
Why, why did they ever let you go?
Pontus Jansson, now I really know
My my, I could never let you go

I'm starting to think 'Oh West London' isn't so bad after all.

Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver
1st Draft and could do with some input

Almost heaven, West London
Bryan Mbeumo, Shandon & Wissa
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, buzzin' like the bees

Lionel Road, take me home
To the place I belong
West London, Brentford FC
Take me home, Lionel Road

La La La BRENTFORD
La La La BRENTFORD
La La La BRENTFORD
La La Laaaaaa
West London, Brentford FC
Take me home, Lionel Road

Shandon & Wissa works well in the place of Shenandoah River but could be Toney & Wissa.
And a bit of work needed for "Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, buzzin' like the bees"
