I was in the UK for the first two rounds!
and oblivious to this thread :)

under the packages it clearly links to: "Find out which games are ineligible to be broadcast on iFollow." - https://www.efl.com/broadcast-schedule/ - at the bottom there, bold-underline, "Please note: no Carabao Cup or Checkatrade Trophy matches will be available on iFollow."

Having read all the stories about iFollow since it was launched, until now I haven't signed up. I get to most games and don't feel the need for a full subscription.

But I wanted to listen to the commentary on the Bolton match so I grabbed my iPad, opened the Safari browser and logged in using my old details from Beesplayer. iFollow recognised me, it was easy to buy a one month pass and I was listening to Mark and Dave just in time for kick off. Have to say I didn't lose connection at all, heard all three goals in all their glory and at pretty much the same time they popped up on Soccer Saturday. :sorted:

If anyone's still hesitating, then it looks as if many of the teething problems have been resolved.

Just one question remains for me - is there an Android app version so I can listen to the Boro game when I'm out and about tomorrow afternoon? I couldn't find one in the Play store. Or do I login via the club website using my mobile phone's browser?

I listen to or watch on Android via official Brentford application. Not sure if it works also via website, but I think there is not any other application for Android.

Has anyone else have problems running the interview videos? I cannot get any of them to run properly and wondered if it was a problem with my PC or a fault with them?

Just watched them, and they worked ok, only the volume seemed a bit low, even when I turned it up fairly high.

Seems they have closed the loophole that makes it possible to watch the live video feed using vpn? Thankfully the teething issues regarding accessing the commentary seem to be resolved.

They seem to have stopped me watching the video in Australia. Which means that they are failing to deliver the service that they have charged me for. Not happy.

same with me in the USA. The ifollow page only lets me listen to audio and the button for video has gone missing.

Sound cuts out every 30 seconds or so. Have to keep refreshing. Very annoying.

working fine for me... the video's been a bit jerky at times, but sound totally fine.

Ed, zombee - try the chat icon in the bottom-right corner?

Took 15 minutes to get assistance via the chat icon but eventually they reset my account and it worked.

But ..... can't use different devices or browsers for video and audio anymore - has to be on the same browser in the same device, or it says you're signed in twice and disconnects you. And the audio seems to keep stopping, so it's been pictures only for me.

We have the same problem, and even if you disconnect from the second device it still quits occasionally and gives you the same error message. A measure of how rubbish the service is that it's 'only' quit about three times this half and that seems like a good service. It really is sh*t.

Have tried chat twice. It says an agent will be with you "momentarily"(??). It then says chat disconnected after about 10 minutes. Absolute rubbish service. Still having to refresh every 30 seconds!

What an absolutely sh!t service. Spent the whole match refreshing every 30 seconds or so. Sometimes it was 20 seconds, the best was about 2 minutes. Spoilt the match entirely. Just glad we won.

Well that's the first time I have been overseas and tried to use IFollow.

Useless service - how do they continue to get away with it !!
I think the idea that some people move around the world sort of escapes them, too - nothing to do with being US-based, I'm sure.

it's an American company, hence "momentarily". but of course, it's pathetic that they don't have someone ready to chat if they offer that service - awful :nono:

there is a guy posting here who works for the club and his signature says: "iFollow support: ifollow@efl.com or 0207 826 4577 on match day" - for future reference.

and it worked perfectly for me, so i'm afraid there must be an issue of some sort with your connection :(

Thanks. Presumably they have so many people complaining that they can't handle all the questions.
Worked ok for the last match, so don't know why there was a problem today.

no doubt overall it's a bit of a shambles, and there should be some sort of support for testing your connection etc. simply, your enjoyment of the game shouldn't be affected - sorry to hear it was :(

"fortunately", Paul USA suffered similarly, and he's the type who'll stomp around until he gets some answers!! so hopefully there'll be something coming soon...

indeed, i can't imagine what sort of feedback Leeds / Wolves / Villa etc fans must be giving it, given the general outcry on here - but then, maybe we have the second-tier second-rate service, not the big boys package :(

Ifollow question here. There are a couple of tasty games after the Bees game this weekend, namely Millwall vs Birmingham city at 5:30pm, and Sunday's game Ipswich vs Norwich. Can I watch these on Ifollow too?

Afraid not. iFollow accounts are locked into each club. So if you've bought a Bees one you can only see Bees games.

The Chat feature has worked fine when I have used it.

Some were saying that you are able to buy one offs if say you are on holiday or working abroad.
Not true... you have to have an international bank account and address.
Might have been said before, so sorry , just clarifying, so have a great game today, I will have to follow on here whilst in Mallorca!

You can use a UK bank card and address. I have done it for about 3 games this season (also using VPN).

Haven't tried it recently though as last game I couldn't make wasn't on iFollow with live video (Middlesbrough).

I believe you need to wait until the match is actually running, i.e. 15m or less before the k.o.

Yep, which is very annoying first time you do it as you have no idea where to find anything on the website and have to go through the full registration process meaning you miss the first 5 minutes of the game.

Middlesbrough decided not to allow their home games to be shown live on iFollow.
Not sure that’s right. I definitely watched that match on ifollow.

Never tried the live video on the tablet before. Usually use the laptop. Anyone had any issues watching on a tablet?

The live video still does not work on my android devices. Audio only. Bit poor that. Guess I'll just need to listen today.
