I'm away in Norway for work this week and so gave this a go. For me it was almost perfect, I synced the commentary to the video feed at kick off and there were a few moments where the play slowed down and then sped up on the video to catch up but I nevrer had to restart anything it just worked. I'd always fancied subscribing to a VPN for this when it was announced for away games but given the negativty on here I've not done it, I a, seriously tempted now as when we are away it's not that often that she who must be obeyed doesn't find me something to do but for a fiver plus the vpn cost for those times she doesnt it looks good to me.

Been using a VPN at uni with three other Brentford fans in which games we have not been able to attend. Saturday was awful, today was a delight other than the actual game itself.

Yes it’s generally been “ok”. But Saturday was an omishambles

it was good last night, but it kept seizing up in the second half... i refreshed and it took 2-3mins to finally remember what it was meant to be doing, was annoying... except when it came back, Canos fell over, then FloJo popped in a free-kick, so that was nice (nick of time!)...

there's definitely an element of that that's my home connection though... still need to work some of this out... i'm still baffled by Hakonen saying Saturday was flawless, almost everybody else says there was some issue?!

i have given them plenty of grief, and one of their staff "reached out" (bleurgh) to me after Saturday's game (i've not replied yet), so i'm not that easy ;)

What can I say? Everything was ok for me. I only watch the matches, I have not been using the commentary after the couple of matches at all.

I have a fixed broadband connection (100 mbps) at home, but iFollow has worked fine also at Griffin Park with my phone, and I have watched some "replies" from my phone while sitting on the New Road Stand this season.

I know. Maybe one day I have all the problems in the world with iFollow and everybody else has a crystal clear picture and commentary that does not need adjustment... I just hope this happens when I am sitting on Griffin Park.

Am I the only one who can't listen to the commentary and watch the game? I used to be able to do it but it cuts out now stating you can't have 2 devices open or two Internet tabs open on the same device.

Can't risk that. I've been in and out like the honey cokey trying to get a decent picture. Have one now at umpteenth attempt so I'm touching nothing.

Does anyone know which email address at BFC is the best to write to to complain about iFollow and the offhand way they deal with comments and complaints?

nah you're right, that started for me a couple of weeks ago...

the connection today got worse and worse before eventually, the last 10 minutes were just horrendous stop-start-refresh nonsense. great.

The service, this season, has been flawless for me other than two games. And I'm using two devices without any problems. The question is, why on earth does there seem to be such disparity in the quality of service between fans?

Mine is always fine first half, then second half it starts freezing for a second or two or so every 20-30 seconds. It's quite annoying.

Does anyone know who are the service provider behind iFollow and how do they transport the live feed from the stadium?

Was any reason given for the loss of audio commentary during the game yesterday. After the early problems with the new system it has been pretty good so far, so hope that it was just a one off yesterday.

That was the one...... I hope it was just that.
it was literally a few seconds after i turned it on (was watching video-only prior to that) - so i thought it was something i'd done!! but funnily enough you could faintly hear them on the video too, and i think i did hear them having a kerfuffle realising that they'd knocked the connection out or something :)

I stuck the commentary on at half time on my mobile. Listened to it whilst watching on the laptop for the entire the second half without any issues. Its bizarre.

Same here for the last few games: first half fine, second half progressively worse.
yep i mentioned the same. suspicious, innit... i'm sure they'd say it's our connection not theirs, but how come we all have the same problem?

we can only speculate as they are a bunch of jokers who won't communicate :( (i notice no-one answered Ed - i think i read that Kurt is the club's POC for ifollow  and alas, i think i read too that our insider Themepark is leaving BFC soon :( )

Mark or someone bashed the cable out..

I hadn't spotted it! Best thing to do if you're unhappy with the iFollow responses and want to talk to the club is to contact enquiries at brentfordfc.com so it'll get passed on to the relevant chaps at the club. It will end up back with the iFollow providers ultimately but I would imagine via a slightly different route.

i think i read too that our insider Themepark is leaving BFC soon :( )
I am indeed alas!

they are such cocks:
Have you perhaps tried closing do the page and restarting it?

If this should occur again please do contact us immediately via web chat to our technical support team through the chat bubble on the bottom right hand corner of your clubs page.

That way we will be able to identify the issue as its happening so we can resolve the issue.
so in injury time of a tense match, just close and restart or wait for a chat that never comes..........

Logged in for the first time in ages. Seems Ifollow technology has caught up with the modern age, as I can no longer have the commentary / video synced in concurrent tabs.

Please note it is not possible to play two streams concurrently. Check that that your account is not signed in on any other device or on a separate tab of your browser.
Now I am going to be watching a stream without commentary :very angry:

mine got a bit patchy at times, as ever, and nearly had a heart attack in injury time when it froze
