nah, couldn't give a monkey's

but hopefully it's a future improvement. it is a bit ridiculous to have commentary through the same platform, but only one or the other. in this day and age....
I don't mean that you can't have commentary and video running simultaneously, but that the sound in the video stream is out of sync with the pictures. So you hear the ref's whistle 3 seconds or so after you can tell he's blown it. And the crowd cheers come a bit late. Was very odd how Bees fans seemed to boo whoever Hyam passed to, rather than booing him!

Will there be highlights from yesterday but with Marky B commentary, all seems to be the official EFL commentator.
I’d imagine the goal would be one to enjoy.
Given that the video wasn't streamed on IFollow (?) they would have to sync up the audio and the pictures first. I'd love to hear it though, even if they only did it for the equaliser.

Has anybody queried the fact that the match replay for Fulham has no commentary and the one for QPR has the QPR Commentatrors including Andy Sinton.
What has happened to Mark B.?

I’ve given up complaining or even making suggestions to iFollow as they either ignore you, lie to you or pretend things have been fixed that haven’t.

Hope there is video this week after last week's blackout
last weekend worked fine

i haven't actually watched any of the full-match replays - do they usually stick Marky's track on afterwards?

F*lham was on Sky so should've had their commentary... and when they posted the QPHa highlights there was a note that there were "recording difficulties" with the bees commentators... :(

I think you have to be "abroad" to do that (technically, if not physically).
You can use a VPN to get around it, although I’ve never tried it.....

iFollow was fine last week at my end, so it must have been an issue at your end.
I can only conclude that iFollow are now able to block any connection through a VPN as it doesn't matter which country I try neither audio or video links now appear :-(

TunnelBear is working if you visit Singapore. Could not get it to work for any other country

I use it regularly, but the layout is very confusing.

You can't access the live comentary from the iFollow tab, but through the match tab.

Used tunnel bear numerous times this season to watch away games, worked great aside from the crap layout of iFollow and occasional streaming issues.

Not sure if they have clamped down on them, I thought the Barnsley game wasn’t available anyway... not sure why they would be so eager to put a stop to the use of VPNs, it’s more cash in their pocket.

There’s always a way around these things anyway.

Just read all this.....seems they have sussed me out.......using NordVPN (premium version) and each time I "visit" a country (been all over).....I get you are not authorised in this region.......someone has been clever.
I have cleared history, restarted my router and even used differing browsers...........................nothing!!

Did anybody find a VPN which lasted the season with no issues ?
I will send you a PM - as it looks like this is being clamped down on, conversations about VPNs should not be in public forums.
Further discussion can be in the ‘VPN Users’ forum once opened.

I have seen that live streaming will be available to domestic viewers on ifollow next season. Apparently this is because the new TV rights Do not prevent this anymore. Can anyone else confirm?

I don't understand!

"EFL has just struck a new five-year broadcast deal with Sky Sports for £130m per year, within which it will have the ability to stream games domestically from next season, so fans in the UK and Ireland will be able to watch certain matches, while still wanting to protect attendances at the grounds – which is why it has picked midweek night games, as those are the most difficult for any but the most dedicated fans to get to anyway.

"It needs to protect Saturday afternoon kick-offs, as they are the big earner, and while it could charge the same to get the game streamed, it would result in a worse product as the stands would be empty and there’d be no atmosphere.

"It will stream more than a quarter of Championship matches and a third of League 1 and League 2 games next season. “That’s a massive step and a hell of a thing to achieve from rights negotiations. It is the first and only deal Sky has done where it shared its rights,” said Barrand."

Are 25% of Championship matches played mid-week?
