Derby aren't on iFollow. They've got their own deal, like a handful of other clubs.

The more pertinent question is: why wasn't video available in the regions where the game wasn't available on some other platform? Overseas Bees have paid iFollow for a video service, and they haven't provided it.
Has anyone actually asked iFollow why this happened?
It was a feature game. I was on early, for once! And saw no "watch" option. Checked the ineligible matches and it was listed there.

Found a good stream (people were discussing it on the match thread), but my home internet is sh*t and gave up around 15-20 minutes... Came back to see bees in the stands celebrating, so thought I'd missed a goal, then realised I'd missed two!

With ifollow not showing the Caribbean Cup games either, I've only seen 5 of our 7 games so far. A great service but could be better...

Normally resident abroad and have a subscription. I'm in the UK at the moment and logged on expecting to just be able to get commentary, but was surprised to see the option to watch available - and lo and behold, it worked. With a UK IP address.

Go figure.

This is getting ridiculous!
If you go to https://www.efl.com/broadcast-schedule/ and choose your region, the Derby game is not listed as blacked out.

But if you go to https://www.efl.com/clubs-and-competitions/tv-games/international-games/ the game is listed as blacked out.
It seems that the game was selected for international broadcast and therefore blacked out in all regions, including ones not showing the game.
This didn't happen last year, I was able to watch games in Spain that were blacked out in most of the rest of Europe.
At least these games are on TV somewhere, so I can find a dodgy stream.

As there are no Spain in the region list, I think we are looking the same list "other international not listen below" and Derby match was on the unavailable match list for iFollow. Did you check the list before the match or after it was started?

Actually, I told you already in July it will not be available on iFollow. Perhaps the old list of regions was still active back then but today Spain is not listed separately at all.

I tried a VPN on it and it didn't work. I wonder if anyone got to see it through BFC ifollow yesterday?

Yeah, that's exactly my point. Spain used to be a separate region, as the international broadcast games weren't shown here.
Now it's joined the generic "other regions" (the countries where there's a broadcaster showing these games).
I didn't check any lists before the game, as it didn't occur to me the game could be unavailable here.
Maybe DAZN.com showed the game but it wasn't listed in their schedule.

I'll stop boring you all with my (and lanzabee's) problems now. It's only 2 or 3 games a year and there's always a dodgy stream of these games.

Anyone else have issues today? My ifollow had an overlay of strange characters jumping around the screen, which obviously was "unideal" and "concerning". They told me they knew about them but they'd go away and they never did.

The numbers are designed to catch the pirates who re-stream iFollow onto services like Tinter. The numbers identify the source subscriber. It was ridiculous today. pretty much all game. Distracting and annoying. It is not me re-streaming the service so leave me alone!

Disappointing. They told me they'd "disappear in a moment" and "as soon as possible", just total lies isn't it.

I doubt we have that big an impact on their business, to be honest....... ;)

I think the basic answer is "yes". There "should" be a way of watching every prem match live. Not sure how yet, though.

UK fans can Watch live on iFollow tomorrow night

Wherever you are in the world you can follow our trip to Blackburn Rovers

Domestic fans can watch tomorrow's Sky Bet Championship trip to Blackburn Rovers live on iFollow with a Match Pass.

iFollow Brentford will be live from 7.30pm with Billy Reeves and Ben Burgess bringing live commentary from Ewood Park. Victory over Rovers would equal our best away run since 2011 and further cut the gap between us and the leading pack.
Here is the link for further details...

I'll be polite and say it is good of him to do it! You do need pictures though when he is commentating - he tends to get distracted.
You need pictures when anyone is doing it, except Chris Wickham. To be fair @rebus wasn't bad.

I don't personally get upset by Billy, but he doesn't always talk about the football and can be quite quirky on occasion. Chris W, I find very good and Marky I quite like as well. Never heard Rebus so can't comment.

I could not log into IFollow on my MAC just now so changed my password but nothing happened. When I went to my iPhone and iPad I was not recognised and asked to log in. I did with the new password which was not accepted.Nor was the old one.

I am now locked out of everything.

How do I get this sorted or speak/live chat with IFollow.

Thanks

Had a similar problem, asked livehelp to reset and give me the new password, worked fine.

He was his usual dreadful self.
i didn't get to listen to much but he mixes players up SO much - he was calling Mbeumo Henry for a good five minutes after the latter was subbed off!

Had to put up with Reeves on the stream I had, clueless waffle from start to finish. BBB corrected him on players names of both teams countless times. Why anyone would pay to listen to that sh*t is beyond me.

Just received this email regarding iFollow.

I wonder what the exciting updates are?!?! Maybe we’ll be treated to uninterrupted audio and video. Perhaps the password reset option will be actioned within 168 hours. Or maybe, just maybe, they’ll replace the whole ****ing thing so it doesn’t look like it was designed as part of a lower set GCSE project.

Probably banned by the Debit Debit service for being dickheads.

IFollow is an absolute joke. No disrespect to our commentators who I think are top notch, but as a platform and from a customer experience perspective it sucks a fat one.

I wonder why I didn’t get that email, but did get an email telling me that Chesterfield FC is leaving ifollow? When I complained, they told me I registered for Chesterfield ifollow in 2017. Er, no I did not. I suspect their database has become corrupted somehow.

I checked my IFollow account and noticed that I have been blocking all the messages from EFL group so I changed that. Not that I have not received any of their previous e-mails of renewal and so on but I did not get that e-mail mentioned before so...

Just got an email from ifollow saying that they will direct debit me for next season on 1st September. So they can still do direct debit if they want to. Big price increase to £140 for the season.

Probably to cover the costs, and a nice fat profit, for live video coverage of all games to UK STHs until crowds are allowed back.

Just got information of my renewal for 2020/21 season... £30 more than previous seasons.

EFL said:

Sounds fair as it looks like I am not going to Lionel Road anytime soon, and the only chance to see Brentford playing is IFollow / Viaplay.

Isn't it an inertia renewal which will go through automatically unless cancelled? This is for the UK audio version.

I'm very very disappointed in such a steep increase in price and it's highly likely I will not renew. In current situation it's becoming unaffordable for me, though I totally get the point that clubs are looking to offset at least partially the loss of attendance revenue.

I realise my experience is totally at odds with a lot of others on here but the annual subscription I pay for iFollow is well worth it for me. I cannot get to many games (when things are normal) so being able to experience match day is perfect. It did take a while for me to get the hang of the tech but it works almost perfectly now both on PC connected to TV via HDMI or on my mobile via the android app. Have watched us on a transatlantic flight and even at Elland Road when my Leeds mate had got me a free ticket for one of their games - which was a bit dull!
