I had the same. But logged off then on again and got in. I wasn't the best this game though. Lots of freezing with the circle of doom. The commentary wasn't in phase either.

It's funny because Mark mentioned a few times about the commentary being ahead of the picture but, for me, it seemed dead right. Later in the game he mentioned the time left and it was bang on with the display.

I became very familiar with the circle of doom too, particularly against Coventry and matches before. Not sure if a coincidence or not but I now clear all my browsing history before a match and it has worked fine since. I always have to log in and out a couple of times before the match to get rid of the doom circle.

For me, it was a couple of seconds ahead in the first half and seemed to be in sync most of the second. I have Sky but stuck with iFollow because I like Mark, Mick and Marcus. Picture was fine throughout. Looking forward to Saturday's game.

He said it wasn't able to be fixed at the ground, but he would ensure it was reported to the iFollow 'experts'. I'm sure he's said this before, some matches are better than others at being properly synched.

Maybe my ears are slow! I must admit, I tend to focus on the picture and wash out a lot of the commentary which I keep on a low volume, particularly if I have to watch Sky.

You can only really tell when a piece of goalmouth action arrives. You certainly can't tell during the chit chat which occupied the first 4-5 minutes of the second half, I know because I was trying to see if we were back in sync. It fooled me until the next Bees attack...

I agree. It seemed like it was pretty much back in sync for the last 20 or so mins of the second half but maybe that was more a case of Mark tempering things a bit.

No for me, in US, the commentary was ahead which is worse than it being behind, so i switched to ESPN plus and watched sky broadcast

Yes, Mark and co have no idea when these ads are coming on. It's something that needs to be predictable and fixed.

As for the ads, well the iFollow coverage gets streamed, so those that are streaming see those ads re pirated coverage...

This is something that ifollow must address.

So how do you think they do do it now then? The ads seem to start at a randomised time after the HT and FT whistle. The straightforward solution for the provider would be to play them all at the same time therefore obliterating any unusual extended periods of play. I suspect that this is actually what happens....we've just been lucky to avoid this situation... so far.

It's also pre-match that it interrupts the commentators. My guess would be some offset based on KO, HT and FT from a match data integration.

The commentary being out of phase is very annoying especially when we attack....... I can deal with the build up but as soon as there's a chance/shot you can tell if its gone in before the ball has left said players foot as Mark gets very excited. I end up turning it right down. Would rather watch follow then SKY.

Bristol City postponement means one less iFollow 'freeby' for ST holders in January (assuming it's not re-arranged before end of Jan). Although, as has been mentioned elsewhere, depending on when it's re-arranged for, we might end up with spectators in the ground instead.....
