This seems to be a disaster, just paid €130 and its not working?????
Because I assume if my was planned to be on when that article was written. So why does the Match Centre say:
There will be live commentary on iFollow Brentford of tomorrow's game, with Mark Burridge and Marcus Gayle, from 2.45pm.
Excellent - live pictures! But who is the commentator?Someone posted on the other thread this thread: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tk4P_MCeiU8&feature=youtu.be which seems to be working fine.
Thank you very much - fancy a job with iFollow?!Someone posted on the other thread this thread: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tk4P_MCeiU8&feature=youtu.be which seems to be working fine.
I was only reposting, you've got Saintsfan to thank for the original link. And don't insult me... this is the response I got from my email to them last week when I pointed out that they shouldn't switch the commentary off at half-time, thank you very much:Thank you very much - fancy a job with iFollow?!
Good luck with that, they're just throwing it back to the club.I would recommend emailing ifollow@efl.com directly to try and find out as well, as a paying subscriber.
BFC's AV Team are providing the cameras and the operation. Southampton are putting their commentators over the top of it (with my blessing!). Mark and Marcus are on our Facebook stream, which for some reason decided to switch us off after Lasse's goal - clearly facebook decided it's too hot for TVNice coverage on YouTube, there's at least 3 different cameras, action replays etc.
Is this what us overseas supporters can expect from iFollow?

In terms of iFollow - we aren't streaming video to that today (although we have tested to it...). The Premium Pass only covers competitive games. Pre-Season friendlies are not included in that.
We are sending Audio as normal, but the link for some reason isn't being put live - I have no control over that link unfortunately. I've contacted the providers, and from what I understand we aren't the only ones having issues with it today, but the best thing to do at this stage is to keep e-mailing ifollow@efl.com. I'm sorry I can't do any more than that![]()

Poorly worded from me... The Premium Pass only covers competitive games as standard. Pre-Season friendlies are not included in that unless we activate it.The streaming of pre-season friendlies and youth games live will be at the clubs’ discretion. Please contact your club should you have additional questions relating to this.[/B]

it was Southampton's channel and commentator :shrug:Watched on YouTube very good camera work shame the commentators had little knowledge of our club and players."there used to be a pub on each corner of the ground"was one of their gems.
Yes I know smart arse but they seemed to only know about 6 players they hardly mentioned the players names when we were on the ball.Get back to the cot your baby girl needs rockingit was Southampton's channel and commentator
they were probably focused on Southampton. here to helpYes I know smart arse but they seemed to only know about 6 players they hardly mentioned the players names when we were on the ball.Get back to the cot your baby girl needs rocking
Is it BFC though?BFC have appointed ifollow to provide the service so it is not unreasonable to expect a statement from the club about today's failure.
roflHopefully all these problems can be ironed out before the season proper starts at Sheffield United.
BFC did not appoint the providers, the EFL did.BFC have appointed ifollow to provide the service so it is not unreasonable to expect a statement from the club about today's failure.
Themepark, It would seem wise to stream next weeks friendly as a "trail run" of the technology and fans access to it, rather than betting it all on the first competitive (i.e. paid for) game of the season.Poorly worded from me... We haven't activated it for today, but as for next week... we shall see how things go.
I agree with this.Themepark, It would seem wise to stream next weeks friendly as a "trail run" of the technology and fans access to it, rather than betting it all on the first competitive (i.e. paid for) game of the season.
I feel the same way, and that is something we're looking at doing. I sent a test feed to iFollow yesterday morning and it all worked. However, we'll see what happens over the coming days when it comes to where we decide to stream it.Themepark, It would seem wise to stream next weeks friendly as a "trail run" of the technology and fans access to it, rather than betting it all on the first competitive (i.e. paid for) game of the season.

very much agree, yet sadly resigned to this not happening as a multitude of people shrug behind the scenesI agree with this.
...all of this is incrediably frustrating and boring
also sad to hear. really appreciate everything you do, mate, and sorry to hear that you're being let down along the way. really appreciate too that you come on here and give us more information, as i'm quite sure that many fans have to put up with a wall of silence from their club.I had a bit of a sleepless night over yesterday, we're working so hard
Even so, it's on the BFC website. The club could at the very least show some empathy towards the fans - and maybe complain to EFL. BFC can't just ignore the matter.BFC did not appoint the providers, the EFL did.
