I am able to log in but there is a loop of music and a recording "Thanks for subscribing to ifollow, the match will start shortly". Guess it already has!
Because I assume if my was planned to be on when that article was written.

I was only reposting, you've got Saintsfan to thank for the original link. And don't insult me... this is the response I got from my email to them last week when I pointed out that they shouldn't switch the commentary off at half-time, thank you very much:

BFC's AV Team are providing the cameras and the operation. Southampton are putting their commentators over the top of it (with my blessing!). Mark and Marcus are on our Facebook stream, which for some reason decided to switch us off after Lasse's goal - clearly facebook decided it's too hot for TV
In terms of iFollow - we aren't streaming video to that today (although we have tested to it...). The Premium Pass only covers competitive games. Pre-Season friendlies are not included in that.
We are sending Audio as normal, but the link for some reason isn't being put live - I have no control over that link unfortunately. I've contacted the providers, and from what I understand we aren't the only ones having issues with it today, but the best thing to do at this stage is to keep e-mailing ifollow@efl.com. I'm sorry I can't do any more than that

Poorly worded from me... The Premium Pass only covers competitive games as standard. The other day I tried to listen to Oxford vBrentford on my iPad the commentary kept dropping out ever few minutes.
Today there was no commentary available at all.
I have paid for a service that is not working as described.
1. My browser is Safari on my iPad, does your application work with Safari?
2. Why was it not working today?
3. What compensation are you going to give me for time wasting and frustration
4. Can you guarantee your service in future

Just love how all subscribers to iFollow are scrabbling around, trying to navigate around the site and not knowing where anything is. PR disaster, I'd say. They know who the members are so why not send some instructions to the email addresses of those that have paid up to this ***** ?!

BFC have appointed ifollow to provide the service so it is not unreasonable to expect a statement from the club about today's failure.

however, there does seem to be some worrying evidence of ifollow palming people off on to BFC, and vice-versa. it all sounds a bit of a shambles so far. i will be getting the service, cos i'm confident it'll be ironed out "in due course", but not at all confident we'll hit the ground running at Sheff Utd :sad:

Themepark, It would seem wise to stream next weeks friendly as a "trail run" of the technology and fans access to it, rather than betting it all on the first competitive (i.e. paid for) game of the season.

I agree with this.
I devoutly hope that all of this are just teething troubles and things will progress to going swimingly; but if they don't . . . . . . . . .
I absolutely understand the contractural arrangements (ie it is between the Supporter and the Service Provider and that the EFL, not the Club, let the contract) but if it is not sorted in a reasonable time I hope that the Club would feel able to put some 'pressure' (for want of a better word) on the EFL to in turn get a grip of the Service Provider; this is something, putting pressure, that it is difficult for the individual supporter to achieve effectively.
I know that it is not the Club's fault and I am grateful to both Themepark and to West Ealing Bee for their help; specially for their prompt action yesterday; but perhaps a phone call from our CEO to a top kiddie in the EFL might/would help if things don't improve in a reasonable timeframe.
For the remote fan base, certainly for this remote fan, the commentary, as close as you get to being in the Stadium, is a real important part of supporting the Club and all of this is incrediably frustrating and boring; it is in everyon'e interests (ie the remote fans, the Club, the EFL and the Service Provider) that it works efficiently imo.
Is there a new app? I can't seem to find it and the old HD player doesn't work.

I feel the same way, and that is something we're looking at doing. I sent a test feed to iFollow yesterday morning and it all worked. However, we'll see what happens over the coming days when it comes to where we decide to stream it.
Yesterday we had a complete mare with our stadium tv system, and we've already got people coming in to check it over and get it fixed before Forest. Our feed was given to Southampton directly on the gantry and they had a newfangled MiFi broadcaster unit thing (prem budget and all that, and yes newfangled is a technical term...). I'm hoping to be able to operate from the gantry for future streams, so I'm having a couple of cables run in before we go again.
I had a bit of a sleepless night over yesterday, we're working so hard - there are occasions of bad luck and also a couple of mistakes along the way. But, what I am very pleased with is how well the camera crew did (despite their chief having a meltdown) for the broadcast feed which everyone has given amazing feedback. So I must thank them for their hard work and will pass on the feedback that they are most definitely deserving!

very much agree, yet sadly resigned to this not happening as a multitude of people shrug behind the scenes
and as Easter says, it is ****ing ridiculous that this should be "hard work" for the average fan. it should be straightforward, and the provider has experience in this area, so i can only conclude that they're not putting in effort and don't give a sh*t. needs sorting, cos this should be a happy positive thing.
(little aside - i've said before, i have "experience" with this company as they also provide the NBA basketball in America - and i've written at least five times to the NBA itself over recent years to say "i really love everything you guys do, yet for some reason this product seems set up to piss me off and put me off the sport. i have no idea why you would do that?!?!")

Checked out Saints' website to ascertain their view on the match. They have a free to register section with highlights, live commentary and other videos. How come BFC can't do this for free?

Even so, it's on the BFC website. The club could at the very least show some empathy towards the fans - and maybe complain to EFL. BFC can't just ignore the matter.
