Surprised I didn't see more people trying to flog them today, sure I only walked past the one at the top end of Lionel Road
There was one bottom of stairs to North Stand. Think I saw another somewhere.

Yup, south end of Lionel Road and at the stairs down from the road to the North Stand .... & there was a seller under the South Stand overhang by the box office .... who said that they were meant to have had card readers, but they weren't ready for Saturday, but should be for this coming Saturday v Valencia, so they can accept cards & cash.

It should also be noted that for the Valencia game a special edition 100 page prog is being put together, being our official ground opening, cheerio GP & hello PL, so it'll prob cost more than the normal £4 ..... maybe £5 (?) .... whatever, have change in your pocke folks. Last Saturday, many people were presenting £10 & £20 notes for a £2 poster prog, so were unable to purchase one as the seller had no change left.

Card readers are the way forward for successful & speedier sales ..... & safety to the sellers as they'll not have a stash of money on/with them!

Not sure if anyone has mentioned, but Valencia programme now available for those who aren't able to make it... Brentford FC v Valencia Matchday Programme | Aca-Creative

Oddly inconsistent with the cover style after WHU but, on the plus side, I'm glad it's not another photo of a player shot at groin level with their legs spread wide open.

Per OS : To celebrate the official opening v Valencia .... we have a bumper 100 page edition Programme on sale around stadium .... £5 .... it’ll be cash transactions only from our sellers around the stadium .... or by Debit/Credit Card from The Bees Merchandise Kiosk on Lionel Road South

Are any West Ham friendly programmes from last Saturday available?

Will there be anywhere to buy programmes for any games not attended or will it all be via the internet?

Even buskers accept contactless now, it's not that difficult.

Directly from Stuart Curtis of Curtis Sports. Confirmed that the club no longer wish to work with them after 4 years.
That is a shame.

Saturday prog always arrived in time for the game.

This new lot send them out second class on a Friday, for a Saturday game, although the Valencia one still hasn't arrived.

If its anything like the Valencia programme it will be well worth it. Behind the rather weird front cover I thought that was excellent.

Not a fan of these drawn front covers.

Agree that the content of the Valencia one, which finally arrived this morning, was excellent, gave me something to read while I was waiting for the car to have it's service.

I am buying home games from the supplier via the post.
Hopefully it will work out.
Have you received your Brighton programme yet?

Even second class post on Friday should have got to me by now.

But having said that I can't remember having any post this week.

No I haven't.
One reached me on a Monday once.
That was as good as it got.
Ditto. Though I did get a FGR one after that match, which I wasn’t expecting. I’d rather hoped they’d be able to get the programmes out quicker.

I found that the programmes arrive closer to the next game than the one they are intended for.
I don’t mind too much as I just want to collect them for this season and the days of them being the sole source of important official pre-match info are long gone. But the later they come the less interesting they are to read at all.

Sam and Chris D have done a great job as editor over the last four years - I think it's well worth a read. Post in the pandemic has gone a little haywire.

Not criticising at all, I like the programmes enough to have subscribed but just as many people writing for newspapers do a great job that doesn’t make them as interesting to read days or weeks later at least in the parts looking forward to an event rather than reporting things that had already happened.

I agree on the job they are doing.
My personal side is a momento from the game I am attending which is very important to me.
I await patiently for my programme to be delivered, but I will admit to purchasing one on the day just in case something goes wrong.
It's habit too.
The programmes are excellent and long may it continue.

Brighton prog arrived this morning.

Some interesting articles, but to not have the match details on the front cover, but down the spine is a bit strange.

Slightly off topic but on the 3 homes games I’ve been to I’ve not once seen a programme seller/stall or any signs as to where to buy one. This involves walking past the main and east stands and you would have thought once through the turnstiles someone would be selling them? It’s not a vital part of my experience but it would have been nice to have bought one to read at half time as I have no WiFi at all on my phone inside the stadium! The only time I’ve had it is when inside the railway lounge.

I've noticed this too. It's a real shame and at a time when programmes seem to be falling out of fashion (some lower league clubs have stopped producing them altogether) we might soon find our own under threat because of poor sales when all it needs is some increased visibility.

Maybe they can employ just a few of the many staff I see standing around in the kiosks not doing much if anything!
