Missed a trick here and should have asked them (ACA), when I called them earlier.
They said mine was sent out on Monday, this week, so might arrive today or tomorrow.

Chelsea programme arrived today.

I asked ACA earlier this season why my programmes always arrived after the game. They said the programmes for sale at the ground are printed and get sent to BFC as late as possible. Subscription programmes then go out on the day of the game or after. (Since my email I seem to get them even later  )

Curtis Programmes (last couple of seasons) were very good, always on time.

We were told they would be posted out on the Friday, for a weekend game.

Why do they want to send the programmes to the club as late as possible? Spite?

Normally get mine on a Wednesday, Thursday or a Friday after the game.
My Chelsea one came yesterday. The content is great and I like the slightly abstracted art style but much of the best stuff is also put online. I’m glad to have them as a souvenir of this historic season but probably won’t bother next season.

Same here.
I had the last season at GP, and the first at BCS, and also this season as the first in the Premier League, but like you AB I won't bother next season.

I absolutely hate the covers, but there are some interesting articles inside.

Like me .. before this season, I hadn’t purchased a programme for donkeys years (apart from the last GP match) but this season I’m getting every home game programme. Funny thing is, I never read it! .. too much going on in and around the stadium before kick off and I could never be bothered to read them once the game has come and gone. Also I think £4 for a PL team programme is amazing value .. was expecting closer to £10 for PL. I’m putting these programmes in a very safe place for my kids to show their kids one day ☺️

I like the programme itself and even though I have been subscribing, I have been purchasing on match day too.
I will buy one Sunday though as the missus is getting suspicious.
I now only purchase programmes from games I go too nowadays regarding BFC.
Since the programme shop has disappeared I find my match day purchases have dwindled.

I assume they leave the printing and distribution as late as possible to have content as up to date as possible - however, as said elsewhere the latest content is normally available online anyway and the Programme is more of a souvenir than an information source these days.

Can someone confirm if they take card payments for programmes at the ground today, or is it just cash still? Need to buy one today as I’ve got a photo of me and my dad in there for his 60th birthday but haven’t brought a programme in years and never have cash on me these days. Cheers!

I'm 95% sure it's card and cash at the ground. That being said, if you only have your card and they don't accept it, the little kiosk with kits in etc sell them and take card payments.
