Wow.this festival is there every years?

Used to be in Boston Manor Park but now in Blondin Park.
Getting better every year.
Money raised goes towards community projects and finances for equipment in Boston Manor Park.

This boxing ring... Is it an old-school "Go three rounds with Westwing for a tenner" sort of thing!

Yeah, I agree. Although Blondin Park is in Northfields, I think it nicer there than at Boston Manor.

My school home football pitch was in Blondin park. The one that was fenced off and had the Pavilion. Played many a game there and let in lots of goals!

Shame on the GPG, let the middle class QPR / Chelsea plastics take over your manor,
You ain't proper Brentford, except for Slatts.

You make BFC look like a laughing stock !!

I was there and didn't see Slatts. Nor did I see anyone with Slatts talking about how they were proper Brentford. Are you sure you went?

Yep, had a cracking afternoon, a few beers and a couple of ciders, watched a couple of bands play then had a sneaky one
in The Brogue after. A good turnout, I reckon this will get much bigger in years to come:sorted:

Very poor showing by BFC. The BFC shop should be selling tops etc. especially for children, as their dad's would be pressured into parting with their dosh. this event is improving year on year and and deserves our backing. The recent, nearby Hanwelll carnival is clearly a QPhaha event, so be it, but was pleasantly surprised that I didn't see one blue hooped shi(r)t on Sunday at what is OUR event....they clearly are "intelligent" enough to stay clear. Again this year it has been a case of BFC where are you

I totally agree, my kids commented on the lack of BFC stuff.
Brentford FC should have had signs etc around the place, maybe near the main stage.
The community trust pitch was so small, my daughter told me off for walking across it with the dog,
I didn't even notice it. Quite a few Ra Ra's walking about showing their colours, which makes me boil.

First time I've been to the event and was quite impressed. The good weather helped no doubt. Definitely an event for families and kids first and foremost.

Agree the community trust's stall looked poor - I too walked across where some kind of activity was taking place.

I'm not sure a club stall would sell that much merchandise? If you're a parent who has a kid which supports BFC and maybe goes to some games I suspect you'll buy merchandise in the club shop on a matchday. Good to see a few kids walking around in Brentford shirts though. :sorted:

Not so good that the beer tent had sold out of Pride by 4pm but you can't have everything.
