Okay, I’ll kick this off: Mark Fleming (Heston School).

Former junior Chris Brady was a year older than me. Just to prove how good you have to be to make it as a professional, he was absolutely untouchable at school but struggled in our youth team.

Any former Bees at your alma mater?

Steven Caulker was sat next to me in quite a few lessons(Lampton). Was playing in West Surrey youth League with mole valley predators I believe before he got picked up (snagged) by Tottenham.
Carlton Cole aswell I think although before my time obviously

Kevin O’Connor was in the years above my son at Douay Martyrs, Hillingdon. There was no interest from my son for football matters, and not helped by the Sugababes actually being in his year....

Jay Smith was one of my best mates at Chase Bridge Primary School, we went to different secondary schools but still saw him and Matt Somner a bit in my late teens.

Can we include players you have worked with?

I worked for a number of years with Lee Holmes at the GLC. If I recall he didn't want to sign full-time as he could make more playing non-league and have a career as a civil engineer.

Andy king, Leicester City premiership winner went to Desborough one of the 3-4 secondary schools in Maidenhead. I don't know him but my friends son is good mates with him. A Chelsea Junior who moved to Leicester. He did play for the same junior team as me and the one my son played for too although generations apart.

Paul Shaw, Arsenal, Gillingham, Millwall etc, scored those goals against us. Went to my old school Cox Green in Maidenhead Long after I left.

My mate Micky Peters who I went to Walpole with. In his late teens whilst playing for North Greenford and doing his Articles at college got a trial with the Raras, got offered a contract, and turned them down to become a Chartered Accountant. Good man! Worked out well. Has been senior partner at a small city firm for last 15 years.

That's actually quite amusing, take it your son has access to this account lol lol

I heard you were in the same class as Joanna Lumley and was very jealous until I realised it was an all girls school

Chris Sparks - not sure if he ever played a first team game for us but certainly was in our squad or a youth team player. Use to go to Green Dragon.
