Absolutely delighted - well done Bees. A few words for the losers (sore losers at that, judging from many on their forum). You were beaten by the better team; not the referee, a dodgy penalty decision, or Ivan Toney not being sent off, or Thomas Frank calling out your time wasting from the moment the match started, as so many of you allege.

Jensen was excellent and doesn’t get enough credit.

He absolutely was today - and hopefully will be next week as well. He get's called out only when his performances dip, which is still too often unfortunately.

I feel exhausted.

Amazing game. Great to be back in the ground. Atmosphere was electric and hostile. To see so many happy faces after so long away was pretty emotional to be honest.

Less said about their goal the better. Shocker. But what spirit from the bees to come back. The red card was welcome and Woodgate seemed to lose the plot by moving dangerous wide men in to the middle and Solanke wide. Played in to our hands. TF on the other hand was brave in our changes and we got what we deserved.

And what a c**t their keeper is.

There were truly 12 men on the field today. Well done to all the fans on the stadium
Absolutely! Certainly influenced the ref on the penalty and probably was reason mepham panicked.

Not sure if anybody else picked up on it but Jensen was being replaced by Ghoddos just before their goal and after he sprinted length of pitch to try and stop the goal he realized he was fine and then played like a man possessed!!!

A privilege to have my first visit to the new stadium in the East stand. The team were immense and we all played our part which I do believe got into muff’s heads. Also TF doing a circuit of the ground just before the team came out for the KO to get the crowd going, great to see 👏🏻. Let’s make sure this is the warm up for next Saturday and we are as professional without the 5th minute madness COYB

Am shattered after that. Throat is killing me now but my god it was great to be there today. Had a lump in my throat during Hey Jude at the start and then my heart sank after the goal. The boys had so much belief that there was no chance they were letting this slip today. Proud of this club. 1 more to go go - we got this. Same again from us all next week I hope!

Just before the final whistle, I got an alert on my watch telling me my heart rate had been over 120bpm for the previous 10 minutes! Great comeback win for the Bees. Well done the supporters.

That was brilliant. I must admit when we went 2-0 down I thought that was that, but the players didn't. Fantastic comeback and a great atmosphere even from home. We must now just go all out next week. Let's pretend we are 1-0 down again :).

The Jury may be still out on Woodgate but my god is Thomas Frank an odious little man.....i don't know how the Brentford fans can listen to him tbh.......loving his talk abut them attacking us on Saturday though.....please god let that happen ....we'll absolutely batter them .....our team was assembled to be a counter attacking team to combat the threat of the Premier League's top six... not poxy Brentford.

On Cherries’ forum last Wednesday. Poor things.

Well done the 4,000. You passed the audition. You attendance is required next weekend.

Had the game on and a few people were watching, they all commented on the atmosphere and were shocked to see there was only 4000 there, for one the noise was fantastic, and secondly the seats really helped make it look fuller...

I have just got out of bed because that game drained every emotion I had.
Without doubt that was the most Ballsy performance I have ever seen from a Team playing for the Bees. It is so far above Man city in the cup Swansea in the League cup. Cardiff away in the cup. and ANY promotion decider or Fulham 4-0 at half time I have ever witnessed. To a man they wanted it. I have seen Bees teams who going 1 -0 down in the first 5 minutes in a match of that importance, just fold and die. But to come back with such sheer belief and fight was absolutely staggering.
Full Marks to the Team in its entireity and to Thomas Frank who got the substitutions bang on.
Bring on who ever for the final because this team doesn't know when to stop trying. And a big mention to the 4000 who were there to bring up such a wall of passion and Hostility towards the opponents its bought a lump to my throat just sat at home watching.

I feel sorry for Brooks and 1 or 2 others, even Smith. But Begovic can go f*** himself!
I don’t feel sorry for any of them. Timewasting even when it was 2-2, injury feigning cheats.

Plus, they wasted time at the end of the first leg.

In the end, they had wasted their own time so it came back to bite them.

I thought their best player was Mepham - good rugby tackle on the Bees 22 metre line!

When you see a team wasting time from the 3rd minute onwards, you know they haven’t got the grit in them to win!

Ref should have booked Begovic far earlier.

But who cares about all that now.

They lost!

WE WON!

This utter atrocity is on their forum:

“they only beat us on the back of a dubious penalty and stupid sending off”

Shameful. And astonishing.

Despite my earlier comments , this was great result for us. Penalty probably a bit dodgy but thought we should have had at least three more.

Penalty was stonewall. If there had been VAR there would be no debate on it.

Both hands raised high, which stopped the cross going further into the penalty box!

Funny because after our stupid sending off in the league game at theirs we still managed to dominate them.

He could seal his place as one of the most disappointing signings of our championship seasons or finally prove us all wrong. Let's see.

He's hardly been selected since well before Xmas. Confined to the odd fifteen/twenty minutes mostly. Thought he had a decent game and made a positive difference to our midfield. He also carries more of a goal threat than Jensen or Ghoddos.

Remarkable! If we do it next Saturday, after the incredible support of 4000 the ground will be an absolute fortress with 15000 Bees in it. The prawn sandwicheers won’t know what’s hit them. So proud. No longer Brentford innit. We’re winners and cold blooded now.

If he hadn't already been booked the ref would surely have shown him a yellow, and then he had the cheek to have a go at him at the final whistle.
His "performance" today was an absolute disgrace to football IMO. Thankfully he (and the rest of the time-wasting Muff team) got his/their just desserts,
