All that Bournemouth time wasting (starting in the first leg) and they lose…. Karma.
We (mostly) stayed composed when things were going badly, but, when it was their turn, for an ex Prem team they rather lost it.
Excellent performance by all concerned, without exception. Great to see Bryan and Sergi back to their best.
An insane game and I’m hugely envious of those of you who were present.
Onward to the big one. COYB.

I spoke to Jon Rees after the game and we all had brilliant things to say about our side today.

Magnificent never gave up display of pure determination.
We never gave up either with massive support throughout!
Total team effort.

So proud of you wonderful Bees.

Mepham suddenly thought he was playing for London Irish!
Once a Bee, always a Bee!

Tremendous atmosphere with only 4000 in.
Huge noise, and it will be fantastic when full up!

We started like school boys and finished like trojans. Crowd were awesome 12th man , if you were at the game give yourself a pat on the back.
Jensen my MOM and as everywhere even tackling back making amends for a below par performance in away leg. You bees .

Jensen was excellent and doesn’t get enough credit.

I feel sorry for Brooks and 1 or 2 others, even Smith. But Begovic can go f*** himself!

Despite my earlier comments , this was great result for us. Penalty probably a bit dodgy but thought we should have had at least three more.

So proud of that side today, to have a mountain to climb within the first five minutes and to win the game and the draw, tells you alot of the squad and management. Well done to everyone in the ground, made me very proud to be a Bee today and I did shed a tear. I love this club......... Bees up Fulham down, Bees up Fulham down......

Having now recovered from an enormous amount of dust in my eyes !

Neither Swansea or Barnsley are what Scumham were last year, and I think we are just a bit better and have
last years experience to draw on.

First game aged 6 - now in my 60th year suffering heartbreak over Play Offs - Last year I was never certain, but I honestly believe we can beat both Swansea and Barnsley.

More dust fell as I was typing this

Wife just said Forss has scored and then commented all this tension makes you feel ill.
She is right! I've taken too many blows over the years and couldn't bring myself to go through it again. When I saw it was 3-1 I 'bravely' watched the last few minutes and hated it. Well done to the team, Thomas Frank and all the supporters who went through the full 90 + added minutes. Looking forward to watching a stress free re-run later. :sorted: Now I want Barnsley to make a comeback. I know they're better than, and probably harder to beat than Swansea, but Swansea have become a bit of a hate figure in recent years and I don't want the possibility of another despised team turning us over when it matters. ;)

Idiot!
It was a big decision to be fair. One of those that's a nailed on penalty when it's for us, and never in a million years when it's against us! That's football 🤷‍♂️

Penalty all day long under the current laws! The defender knows what these are and made no attempt whatsoever to keep his arm down.

Not sure what Goodman was on today. Don't mind him normally but think he must be booked in the B'Muff B and B tonight!!!

Honestly, how was it dodgy? That cross was headed into the front of the goal until someone slid in with his hands out in front of him, which is beyond unnatural unless you're trying to block a cross with your hands, and managed to palm it over the line. How is that not absolutely 100%, unquestionably, "what the hell was he thinking?", stonewall penalty?

Am stuck in a quarantine hotel in Milton Keynes and not due to be released until next Saturday morning. Security staff outside window clearly baffled by the noise - voice lost! That performance has made life so much more bearable. Nowhere to go, so will just have to celebrate all afternoon :D:D Just fantastic!!! Brilliant Bees 🐝🐝🐝 Brilliant!

I do kind of agree, but I'm struggling to be impartial about it! I think his hands were pretty high when he went to ground, so he had it coming.

But I still think there would have been a riot on here if it was at the other end though!

Just heard that absolute **** Begovic interviewed and he has said the referee wasn't up to the job, it was a shameful decision and it should be looked at by the head of referees!

Good to see he is embarrassing himself off the pitch as well as on it, the only shameful thing from today was his "performance" that was littered with errors, time wasting, diving and feigning injury.

My boss clocked us playing last Monday and gave me day off. He split my shifts today so I worked early, until 12, then back at 4 til close to allow me to watch the games.
And has now reduced my hours next week to finish at 1pm to watch the final.
Think I owe him a pint or 10.
What a great boss you have. Treasure him.

Know who I thought of at the end? Marcondes.
Has had a career at Brentford that defines up-and-down, with flashes of quality, injuries, indifferent square-peg spells. Today I kept thinking as a sub warmed up "so, that's for Emiliano of course". But Frank showed complete faith in him, and I thought him and Jensen were brilliant. He must feel 10 feet tall tonight.

It was still advantage Bournemouth at that point. Did they just give up? Ridiculous whinging.

I have some sympathy with this.
Begovic was booked. He was then warned at least twice about his time wasting and continued to do it.
I can’t see him lasting the game if the ref backs up the warnings with action.
If he hadn't already been booked the ref would surely have shown him a yellow, and then he had the cheek to have a go at him at the final whistle.

I really like that forum when I've peered on there. They seem a very sound bunch.
Just had a visit there myself - great read! They hate Begovic, hate Woodgate and hate Bournemouth and their timewasting sh*thousery. Not one poster on there wanted Bournemouth to win!

I kept waiting for them to mention the one that Bees would have had last week if the referee had realised Smith kicked Fosu rather than the ball.
