He's not risen to the heights of a spectacular first season but he's got a decent return from what must have been a challenging second season, particularly with losing (some temporarily) those players who contributed so much to his first: not just Watkins and Benrahma but also Dasilva and Dalsgaard for many games, as well as the other Francophones. A complete folly to even consider moving him on, he looks a key player for our future to me.

Eh? Of course he did, are you suggesting that affected his form for months?
Yes he did look like he had suffered a bit and it’s taken time for him to get back to a good level of match fitness.
Great to have the option of Canos Fosu Forss Mbeumo starting with the others on the bench

I thought there was more fluency up front yesterday after Toney and Forss had been subbed.
The oppo were obviously tired by then, but must be good for us going forward

More b***ocks. He had one positive test FFS. The next test several days later was negative. Stop all this crap talk.

So a positive test does’t count . Go back to my first point on this where I said it’s taken him time to get back to match fitness. I did say it looked like he had suffered a bit

So you know more about whether he was "match fit" than the vast resources of the Club's fitness team?? Who decided he was.....

"[He has] no symptoms, [he is] fit and well so unfortunately then of course you need to isolate just to keep everything in the right place and a safe environment.

Oh God not this again 🤦‍♂️

He is looking really sharp in that forward role and can only bode well for the Play Offs, a great return in the regular season too.

It's obvious to everyone that he went a bit off the pace for a while and that had a knock-on to his timing and decision-making, which was frustrating for him, but he has really fine ball skills and reading of the opposition, even being able to use his (much) weaker foot to good effect. He can change pace automatically and likes nothing better than bouncy, quick moves with team mates, especially when it ends with him smashing one into the net, which he has done several times this season.
His head might go down for a moment, but I don't for a moment believe he stopped trying. His ability is clear. Last season he was the obvious pick. He is probably a better all round player now, though. Frank and Brian have a bit more to think about, that's all.

I haven't previously heard of this symptom. Sounds nasty no wonder he's been struggling to find his best form.

Could be a key player for us in play offs. Got his mpjo back getting back in goals and far more comfortable up top. Definitely a class above mst players in this division. Still likely to start from bench but 30 odd minutes from him against a side that will start to get leggy and With defences accustomed to playing against what Toney and Forss will throw at them could be the difference we need.

All of it. Twice.
Still got it too.....
And it's still affecting his fitness and performances to such an extent that personally, I don't think he should be in the squad.....
But what do I know, I'm only a fan who's been going for 50 years, I guess the performance staff probably think they know better......

Earlier when I made a comment that Bryan had had Covid 19 I was criticised and told no he had not had it

I fully expect if Bryan has a slightly off game in the 2026 World Cup Final there’ll be people on here speculating about the impact on him of his undoubted long-Covid after he’d been hospitalised and on a ventilator for most of 2020 and 2021.

What does it say, to me whoosh is a noise
Sorry Del, my comment was very much tongue in cheek, as you would have been able to tell had you remembered my previous responses to your comments regarding BM and COVID.
Perhaps I should have included a :fishing: but I must admit, I thought it was pretty obvious.....
