Mbeumo is a top, top talent. His numbers for us over the past couple of years are exceptional for someone his age and has performed extremely well so far this season against some of the best teams in the country/Europe.

We could easily be talking about a £35m+ player if/when he starts converting his chances!

He’s been superb this season, his anticipation, touch and pace have been exceptional, a transformation. Needs to finish better, if he can fix this the sky’s the limit

IMHO this is a major issue at present - he misses far too many goal opportunities. He always seems to want to put the ball into the back of the net in off the post. He needs to stop doing that. Hopefully the coaches are all over him on this, because if he’d netted the golden opportunities to score that he’s had we’d be in the top four now 😐

If he converted more of his chances he’d be top scorer in Premier League and valued excess £50m!! Fine margins

To me it feels like he needs 5 or so good chances to get a goal. He does however create 3 or 4 of those opportunities himself through his work and pace. Forss I suspect only needs 2 or 3 chances for a goal but doesn't create nearly as much as Bryan does. Between them we would have the perfect striker alongside Toney!

If he is fit enough let him lead the line at Stoke. He desperately needs a goal. If that works out he will be invigorated. If not, is it time to give Forss a start at Burnley?

I don't think I'd start Forss ahead of Mbeumo in any circumstances. You'd lose everything good that Bryan brings to the team.

Any closer to the centre of the goal, and the keeper would gobble it up, that’s why he goes so close to the post

Forss doesn’t bring enough to the team to start over Bryan. For me he’s the Toney backup, not Bryan’s. If we were ever to drop Bryan it would be for Wissa.

And remember that on one of the last times we played Stoke, Forss scored 2 clinical goals almost immediately he came on. Nearly helped us recover from 3-0 down. Would like to see him start on Wed.

I agree that he misses too many, but at least we are creating enough to be missed! Would rather that than have no opportunities at all. It's all still very positive play.

Welcome Blackpool Bee! lived in Bispham for 20 years, supporting Bees from Blackpool has been interesting...., great to see a Lytham Bee too. Anyway, back to topic n all that.

I think Bryan is very close to being the next Ollie Watkins. I actually think he's better at running at defenders than Ollie, just needs to work on that finishing. He's gonna get a hat trick soon I reckon... watch this space.

He will be starting on Wednesday I am sure. Toney won't be risked, and if Bryan is injured he won't be anywhere near Stoke.

Another way of saying...if you could combine Forss' finishing with Bryan's all round game you would have one hellava player!

Not good news. I wonder if we might see a slightly different set up if he doesn't make it. I'm not convinced Toney and Forss from the start is a great option for us...
