Only £27.10 ? Surely not .... even if that price is each way, that's stil mighty cheap!
I've not found anything at a sensible price .... even with a Senior RailCard.

Anyone coming from Blackpool or via Preston your better off getting the train to Burnley Manchester Rd it’s 30 minutes quicker , if running

Bus replacement on that line from Accrington, better going into Central,than faffing around or taxi from Accy, £10/12

Trains are OK between Manchester to Preston and on to Burnley?
1 hr 48min shortest journey time, a lot of the services on that route have rail replacement buses after Preston which takes journey time 2hr 14 min. Coach is half the price.

Bus replacement ONLY if you are going into Manchester Road in Burnley................go via Preston into Burnley Central then no problem, might be a bit longer ,but then cans , trains and TW8's are the best bit!

Yep, Hebden Bridge be good.....
Limited parking...and you will be a long time getting out.
But excellent pie and chips in the C.C. Pavilion.

How the hell is everyone getting back from here? I’m sure last time I looked trains weren’t this bad.

Drive or go via Preston on train from Central, but probably wont get into London until 9:30pm/
I booked return train to Leeds prior to all these rail replacement problems between Leeds and Burnley. Due to arrive in Leeds around 1220. Now with rail replacement due in Burnley at 1430.
On the return hoped to be on the 1916 from Leeds service which now looks unlikely. Will do well to make kick off!
Surely I can't be the only one in this predicament. Bottom line was I didn't want to spend any longer in Burnley as necessary.
Can feel an anxious day is on the cards.

It's absolutely chucking it down up here and very windy,travelled all the way from Kings Lynn yesterday and didn't get my train ticket checked once.....could have saved a few Bob!!!
