Big game for us, a draw would do but we can certainly do better than that. Burnley haven't won in the league yet. They aren't particularly good attacking (19th on goals scored - 7) or defending (joint 4th on goals conceded -15). We've only won once in the last 12 trips to Turf Moor, a 2-1 win in 1996.

Depending on injuries I think we have a reasonably good chance of winning here, just hoping Bryan, Pinnock and Janelt will be available.

Can see a tricky 1-0, a towering Ajer header in the 65th minute.

Reminds me of those Championship away games up north which we never fancied too much. Different sort of a game for us now but think it will end 0-0.

Very tight 1-0 win for Brentford.

Canos setting up Norgaard for the goal in the 77th minute.

3-0 Bees. No coincidence TF played a strong line up at Stoke...IMHO that was a perfect warm-up for Saturday, away at a tricky venue against an awkward team with similarities to Burnley. Lessons learnt from Wednesday. Pontus, Noorgaard and FTT back in, Forss up with Toney...total control and convincing win on the road.

This will be a physical game, they're likely to add an extra midfielder and play two up top and do what Stoke did from the 50th minute on Wednesday, get in our faces. We've learnt how to deal with those tactics and did well the other night.

I'd be worried about one or two midfielders at Turf Moor due to how Burnley will play and ideally Vitaly, Norgaard and Frank would start with more creative players coming on later.

Toney and Forss are both outstanding strikers but I think a bit too similar for how we want to play, if the options were there I'd play Canos in Mbeumo's role (if not fit) and bring someone else in; obvious choice would be Roerslev to play wing back.

Vitaly, Frank and Norgaard with Toney and Forss might not provide enough runners to benefit from flick on's which is why I'd like to see Sergi around there but as ever he and Rico will provide overlaps coming forward if we set up the same.

Tough game, physical game but one I can see us getting a result in but might not do enough for a win - I'll go 1-1.

Take the chances and win 2-0. Otherwise I can see 0-0 and a useful point to add to the total.

One of those strange games that could quite conceivably be 3-0 to them, 3-0 to us or anything in between! The smart money suggests a low scoring draw, though.

I just hope that the team have the same mentality as they've shown throughout the season, which is the intensity with which they play. Drop off by 5%, just because it might be perceived to be a winnable game, and we could get stuffed. Burnley might not have won a league game yet, but everyone knows that they're highly competitive and whilst they usually have a better second half of the season, that doesn't mean they can't produce a performance that could roll us over if we're not quite at the levels we have shown. 1-0 win to us.

Most PL games at Turf Moor are very tight affairs and I doubt t'row will be any different given the chess-like nature of football at this level.

As long as we maintain the levels from 1>11 I think we'll squeeze a narrow win through a Jorgensen set piece header and an IT pen (2-1).

Sorry all going for a 1-1 here.
hopefully I’m wrong
I don't mind if you're not wrong. I'd take take right now. I'm a bit concerned about our short to medium term future. We seem to be losing key players to injury every time we play and no squad can sustain that for too long. I'd be relieved with a point and no more ******g casualties!

Nervous about this one as I know what we're like for turning form - Burnley haven't won this season and we haven't lost away from home.
Nevertheless, I'll keep the faith with a 0-2 win now that Toney scored midweek.

Cornet looks a great prospect for them and is quite an un-Burnley player. He’ll probably be on LW for them and I wonder whether he might not be a bit much for Roerslev to handle so I’d prefer Canos and Ajer to stick to their positions as they’ve shown they can deal well with the best that the PL has thrown at them.

Hi. Not a Brentford fan here, from Manchester but lived in London in the 80s including 2 or 3 years on Windmill Road about 200 yards from Griffin Park so always had a soft spot for the Bees and pleased to see how well you are acquitting yourselves in the Prem. Quick question for you, is the view that Mbuemo will play tomorrow? Fantasy football related. I hope you beat Burnley big time tomorrow, I have lived there too and they are vile inbreds, sting em

I'm keeping everything crossed for this one. Injuries aren't helping us - Burnley haven't won yet and this will be a real test of our character and resolve. I'll go with my heart and say 2-1 to the good guys......but honestly who knows.

Unsure about Bryan playing, I'd say probably not as we tend not to rush players back - even from a minor injury... although there's still a chance he'll play.

Done his usual matchday post so will most likely at least make the bench
