They score a ridiculously high percentage of their goals from dead ball situations so, if we handle this, we should be OK. 0-2 (Toney, Canos) but a hard shift required.

We beat a PL team with 3 first XI players and you are asking how many we will beat Cardiff by?

If anything Cardiff will be motivated to knock us off our perch. Tough battle. Start on the front foot, reduce the number of needless free kicks, keep a clean sheet and improve the conversion rate of the chances that will come our way. Do that and we get a result.I'd be tempted to start Norgaard and Janelt with Josh. Janelt is perfectly capable of playing a wide mid role.

Would be very happy with a point. Not the sorta teams we like the play, I reckon it'll be 1-1.

Neil Harris is a poor man's Warnock. All of the sh*t football with none of the tactical nous. They've been a bit unpredictable and fans aren't entirely happy. I think with a couple of big players returning, we'll have too much for them. 2-0 bees Toney, DaSilva

No easy games in this league and we never find Cardiff a stroll in the park. Would love to keep the run going, but I think we will have to accept one point to do so. 1-1

would love a win tho tbh and I have a good feeling about them being a bit sh*t because Keeffe more their striker just got injured so we might have a good chance

A tough one to call this.

Kieffer Moore is the top rated player in the Championship by whoscored. Need to shut him up ASAP......

Who was the Cardiff player who kneeled on CN's head last season and got away with it? Never forget, never forgive.

One of them with a short, weird name. Vaulks? Ralls?
I think that was the first time I’d seen Thomas really ‘lose it’.
That game summed up the recent history with them. 2-0 up and cruising, snidey fouls to knock us off our game, a couple of set pieces, and finish 2-2.

He then went on to take the throw for their equaliser.....

I think we’re much better set up to manage that now.

The Cardiffs 0-2 Brentford (Forss, Thompson). Luke Daniels to save a penalty. Or are we rotating again? :fishing:

We cant draw so many games if we are going to go up automatically. Moore is dangerous but pinnock is terrific at winning aerial duels which is where moore excels. Think we will keep them quiet and nick one.

0-1 Mbuemo

Edit- Moore is out injured so abit more optimistic 0-2 ;)

Watched them a couple of times recently and they were poor - however never going to be an easy game so 1-1

..............if we had drawn more games instead of silly 1-0 losses last season we would have gone up automatically...............
Yes. WBA got 8 more draws than us. We got 2 wins and 6 losses more than them. That was the difference of two points between us.

Alternatively if we had been given that ridiculous non penalty at WBA and had gone 2 nil up and won we'd have had 2 more points and they 1 less. We'd have gone up.

Agree we need Norgaard,Vitali, and Josh in midfield to give us extra height and win the ball further up the pitch CN or VJ can push up,
this enables us to be able to compete when defending against their dead balls/corners which are 70% of their goals.

3-1 but a tighter game than score suggests. Would rather we played to our strengths than tried to compete on their terms.

Didn't think much of Cardiff against Swansea recently, who are missing Kieffer Moore, so I'm cautiously confident.

1-2 bees.

Wonder how many we would have taken to Cardiff today? I would have been a stay-at-home-weasel I admit but games like this bring out our real heroes.
