Canos coming on and clearly thinking f**k this, I'll just set up a goal :)

The number of foreign fans there today - 20 French rugby fans in the Ealing Rd plus dozens of Danes everywhere :)

Should have won 7-1, their keeper saved some amazing efforts

Not being able to get there til half time and finding a great big shiny parking spot right outside the ground. (Oh, and Canos).

Djuricin's goal, superb turn and finish. Their defender tried to handle it but still couldn't stop him!

Canos cameo agreed. The sight from Braemar of the whole New Rd celebrating Judgey's free kick as a goal for a full 10 seconds was quite amusing .

Jim Levack mistakenly criticising KK for an error that was actually made by Bidwell. The irony was not lost on me.

Canos was OK as well.

I'm afraid it's the rules. If you go into the crowd it is a booking. Awful ref though.

When you say 'go into the crowd' i think of Troy Deeney style in the play off semi final a couple years back. Djuricin no where near that just hugged the front row from what i saw!

New Road thinking that Judge had scored from a free kick and still celebrating even after the goal kick had been taken!!

Still a booking - some refs cast a blind eye though. This prat didn't.

Canos with some superb flicks and touches when he came on.
Talk about game changing impact sub - he was firing on all cylinders with passion and skill.

As were Vibe and Djuricin!

Plus personal champagne for me was that I missed the first half because of terrible traffic coming up from Hampshire, and then in on M4- from those around me, I didn't miss much!

My champagne moment was the triple woodwork strikes in the warm up.

No audible booing at half time even though we were a goal down.

The fact that the fittest girl in the ground was making consistent eye citact with me during the game. Even looking back when she couldn't resist.

Still got it. Haha.

Seriously,

Canos

Definitely Canos. When we signed him I thought we might have a good young player but likely to be a bit lightweight. Not so.... Guy played like he'd been dreaming to play for the Bees ever since he first played in the streets of Barcelona. Absolutely wired. Cult hero in the making

Toumani - the mildest man ever to pull on a Brentford shirt - squaring up to one of theirs and having to be led away. From that point I knew we were motoring.

It was the ginger ****** Doyle who upset him and he wouldn't let it go.

the winner,,,,,,,,,,,,possibly and very probably the goal that will keep us up this season,,,,,,,,,,,good work austrian fella :) closely followed by the support from the ealing road 2nd half,,,,,,,the paddock seems to have gone into hibernation for the winter by the looks of it

I liked Barbet leaping through the air and bringing the ball down on his chest. We've had attackers incapable of doing that

When it was going a bit Pete Tong in the first half Toums walked around giving everyone the it's okay we can do this stay calm chat...then in the 99th minute he sprinted 70 yards to close down a player and win the ball...One word immense

Love it when teams start time wasting in the first half and then get their come uppance. How many times did they go down with what looked like career threatening injuries only to leap up three minutes later ready to carry on?
And one of their fans being escorted from the ground during their goal celebrations. Must rank as one of the earliest ejections on record.

West Stand BCS.
The three minute spell that included the two goals, and the celebrations that followed.

Great noise from the crowd from that point on.

The first five minutes of Sergi's home debut were pretty special!

But, personally, first time up the Ealing Road with my son was absolutely fantastic! First thing he said when we arrived home was: 'can we stand at every game dad?' You bet we can!! :sorted:

Spot on. I also mentioned to my fellow Bees Suppoerter in B304 that great fingertip save Button in the 1st half (which would have put us 2-0 Down), could be the turning point for us to get something out of the game.
