Only managed to get within 8 miles of Oldham, it was too dangerous to travel by taxi as driving conditions were hampered by the blinding sun that was in evidence all day :rolleyes:

Meeting up with Dangerous and Dangerous jnr, so great to see the bond between the two of them. :sorted:

Finding the best pub in Manchester! It has to close at 6pm! £1.35 a pint ,meeting some good Manc people.

We got as far as Crewe and instead of spending the afternoon driving home, we drove 10 miles to Keele and reminisced about our time there as students. Perfect weather made for a really good afternoon!! :wave:

yes a lot of you older generation think that and i do tend to agree. i remember the late eric white was very keen to have one league match in 1988/1989 season where no bees "fans" born after 1967 were allowed to attend to mark our centenary. some kind of bureaucracy stopped it but i think it would still be a really nice gesture if this took place at some stage this year to mark 121 years.
