Converting your chances into goals win matches. Possession of the ball certainly helps. If we have been sussed, then those chances wouldn't come our way. We know we lack a forward, we know Gray is still learning, we all know that, at times, we do seem to be doing 'an Arsenal', by walking the ball into the net. But sussed out? Really? Ipswich did a job on us, didn't let us settle, they had a game plan and it worked. Brighton did not suss us out. Stupid errors in the defence gave them the opportunity to score. We created more than enough chances to win the game in the first half. Goals win games, we didn't score from being in good positions to score. We got sucker punched, not sussed out.

The same against Wolves, we were the better team.

They (as have others) have sussed if you pressurise our back four when receiving the ball from the keeper they will make mistakes and mistakes in
this area lead to good goalscoring chances,.

Brighton barely did this at all yesterday.

1. The Tarky tackle when they were 2 on 1 just before half time

2. Grays run in the second half when he outpaced 3 defenders

Woah this is pretty negative for champagne moments so far. Did enjoy ER sorting out their corner placed about a foot off the line.

Never like to see cheating like that at corners, unless its in our favour !!

Sitting next to a Bee of 60 years from Seaford in East Sussex yesterday was good.Always have time for fellow fans who make the journey from Gods appointed County.
Both of us knowing what defeat meant to us down here.

Is he the one who owns a bungalow on the sea front with the "Griffin Park" sign outside ? Often wondered if it was a Bee who lives there on my days out down to that lovely part of the south coast.

Really? Would you have typed the same if 2 or 3 of the better chances had been taken? We should've been out if sight and coasting the game. No team has us sussed, we lost because we didn't take what we created.

The stats will show we dominated , but again we have lost - so we will have to learn from that.

Perhaps a proven goal scorer rather than interest in yet another midfield player could be the first lesson.
I believe certain teams have sussed us out and at times we need a plan B.

I respect your stance WP but its all about opinions - see line 1 above.

The one from Moses where their guy hit the post
Couple of instances with Tarky
Actually my champagne moment funnily enough was the number
of times Gray got into good goalscoring positions, on another day
he will put them in

Forwards will always chase down defenders, there's nothing "sussed" about that. The whole game is about exploiting the oppositions weaknesses and how well either team is able to cope with that.

Teams have had our style 'sussed' for ages, doesn't mean they will be able to stop it. It's a very good style of football that will often work regardless.

Wolves knew how to play against us at our place, and they lost 4-0. At their place it went in their favour but we played well. Ipswich we had an off day, and conceding after 20 seconds probably made that worse! Brighton was all our fault, can't blame anyone else, it wasn't a case about being sussed. We just had one of the most wasteful performance I've possibly ever seen in front of goal. We made the chances, and then didn't take them. No one else to blame.

My champagne moment was probably "You dirty northern bastards" chanted by them after our bad tackle.

Earlier in the season teams were more cautious and tended to sit back more, for the first Ipswich goal they pressed every pass from the off, forcing Button into
a hurried clearance straight to an Ipswich player leading to them scoring, if we are going to play out from the back then we need to improve on our decisions.

Sorry I thought we lost, must be my mistake.

Ok if you want to be funny about it .

We were by far the better side, had more shots and bossed the possession but an off side goal plus an own goal resulted in a very unlucky defeat.

Is that better

I am just pointing out we were not " sussed " by Wolves but hey ho , go and look at the League Table and cheer up.

Don't need to cheer up perfectly o.k. thought this was an opinions site and mine and yours differ no problem I just happen to think
opponents have spotted an area to exploit (perfect example Ipswich) where we conceded after kicking off ourselves being pressured into
bad passes which in dangerous areas leads to goals, I am not saying that all teams will be able to exploit this but at times we look nervy
when pressed at the back, I think Rotherham will push right up and try the same on Saturday, it may not work but it seems to be a
strategy that is having some success for teams lately particularly if we fail to take advantage of our chances and possession.
If you use the argument that it's o.k because we were the better team, then you might as well use that for the Brighton game as well.

Not saying its ok , just saying we haven't been sussed , every team prepares in the way they think will work on any given match day. We beat Derby after preparing for the way they play, does that mean they have been sussed ?

When we stop creating chances and only have 35% of posession then I will accept we have been sussed. Having 65% of posession and averaging about 20 shots would suggest we are still very dominant in games I wager.

The strong line up we played.

Bonham showing he's come back from his confidence shattering start to mens football and looking like a great prospect going forwards.

Skills from Jota.
