An honourable mention to Alex Smithies...End of the game clapped the Ealing Road and sought out every Brentford player to shake their hand before leaving the pitch..
A touch of class from a Ranger!

I'm sure he/we will.

He met Terry Evans for the first time, yesterday, and seemed to forget how to speak - couldn't remember his own name. Got a great picture of the two of them. :hat:

Big Tel's handshake is still quite injurious.

Bircham is a wrong un. :yuck:
saw Terry in Sainsburys Hayes a few weeks back, told me he hadn't been to a game in a while, real glad he was there..hope your boy is ok today..

I did enjoy their blue flare at the end of the game. Very funny indeed!

See a bit of camera footage from yday after game and felt tickled by it as some there were there 50 years ago doing their bit re the scum. Didn't realise young children were there tho and realise now would have been better for it not to have happened. Without doubt tho caused by Bircham from what I have v been told.

Yesterday meant an awful lot in many ways. When I remember those who stood on that forecourt 50 years ago and since it was ours to rule. I hope the upset kids (our life blood) are OK now and can see the parable of it. Thanks kyou to so many for making yday possible

Canos kept gesturing to the wendy house especially giving the 2-0 sign even to the guy taking the free kick which preceded their goal. He ran off sharpish after that. Barbet header from inside the goal must have peed them off and the pen which even beesplayer was not sure what it was for. Rangers work colleague predicting the correct score.

Very poor from the beesplayer boys. Colin was sent flying by a desperate, lunging, studs-up challenge. :nono:

Think the referee was in two minds about playing advantage or giving the penalty. In the end, he did both. Great refereeing? :looks:

20 years ago I served a ban from football for 6 months (over 18 months adding all the time waiting for the final court appearance) for being a ****, so I'm not holier than anyone, but this was sh*tty, inexcusable behaviour at the wrong time, in the wrong place, from people who should know better. Trying to justify it by bringing up January 1967 won't wash with me.

It's done and dusted now, but I doubt the families and children that witnessed it will see the ****ing 'parable of it'.

As for camera footage - I just hope they filmed in landscape not bloody portrait...

Nico's pass. Wouldn't have thought he had that in his locker 24 months ago...

Which was controlled brilliantly by Jota, beating Bidwell and checking back insdie to fire past Smithies.

Class.

..............you've had your day out ........now.................
That's your champagne moment?
The same song we sing every time we have a comfortable win?

Surely you can do better than that.

Class ot intelligence?? I know if I were a professional footballer that it would be a good idea to get 'onside' with the opposition supporters rather than winding them up......

It's the end of the game....walking away....he didn't have to acknowledge the supporters at all. Most don't. Cannot see how you are bringing intelligence in to the equation.

He now knows he's got a far better chance of a decent reception from us next time he plays here, rather than the abuse handed out to certain other players.......Again, as an opposition goalkeeper in front of ER, I know what I'd prefer.....pretty astute (or 'intelligent' if you like) in my book.....

Too many moments to single one out, but the way Jota made Bidwell look second rate all afternoon sticks in my mind...

Yes, while not Champagne, the New Road facilities seemed to take much less time... very odd.

I'd still rate our build up and third goal, though.

qpha fans singing "you've got a sh!t firkin haircut" at Jota when he took the corner followed by the first champagne moment - Barbet, 1-0, we're on our way to a double over the ra ras. Quality.

Playing with them during their shooting practice, singing to Matt Smith that he should have stayed at Oldham, telling Washington that he scores when he wants, he scores when he wants, 4 goals a season, he score when he wants, all of them were pony and missing for fun, they took it well and smiled laughed and gave us thumbs up but I enjoy that sort of stuff and deep down we must pee them off. Syall was laughing his balls off which I don't think Bircham liked as it a serious session but seriously sh*t IMO.

I may be wrong but I thought it looked like Holloway was having a bit of a disagreement with some of their fans on his way off the pitch. Didn't see him applaud them at all either.
As did a couple of Bee's fan's in the Braemar forecourt when they arrived. Holloway didn't take to kindly to a chant of "you're getting sacked in the morning", turning round and saying something incomprehensible in his west country accent! :sorted:

Bob the kitman joining in with the pre match banter with the ER crowd. :sorted:

Johan & Sergi giving it large to the RaRa supporters after the first goal. lol

Jota making Bidwell look a mug twice. Especially for his second.

Some of the touches from Jota, Woods, Canos, Sawyers & Nico. Sublime. :bound:

Reckoning that Bidwell would struggle to make the squad now.

On the way to the station after the game hearing two RaRa supporters saying that under Holloway they've descended into a clone of the Wimbledon "crazy gang" side! rofl

I just watched the Beesotted video of the day, great fun and a decent QPR bod with his dad at the end.

Flat beer moment - missing the game as am in Florida taking my daughters to visit their waste of space mother...

Champagne moment - can't chose between:

Knowing my mum (who has never seen us lose) was able to take my old man to enjoy the festivities.

The irony of us smashing through rangers as i smashed through a case of Voodoo Ranger IPA (a delicious IPA from New Belgium at 7% they also do an Imperial IPA version at 9% that's amazing and recommend both to anyone going to the US soon)

Or my 7 year old daughter asking me "Daddy do the Bees always beat RaRa scum everytime we play them?" (her actual words :D)
That last one gets it for me.

How about BBC's headline spelling QPR wrong....

"Jota inspires Brentford victory over OPR"

Thinking about it, Bircham had gone to the team coach after a few words were exchanged. He really didn't need to re-enter the forecourt and carry on the way he did.

I was impressed by Lasse Vibe, telling all the youngsters to move away, though I was worried for him when he tried to break up the hoo-ha.

I'm glad that the two qpr fans who tried to escalate the nonsense were sent packing the way they were. Dan Bentley didn't look very impressed.
Lasse looking to do more to help out now too.......
