Friday was amazing but I did enjoy and loved our 6 years in the Championship and it be good to see which clubs go up this year from the Championship.

Currently Fulham are top (predict it won't last) and QPR from being 2nd on Saturday are currently 11th. But good to see Swansea in the bottom three after 3 games (y)

Despite what I have seen so far from the West Brom and Sheffield United game on Sky tonight expect them both to be challenging together with Boro and Bournemouth. Cardiff a dark horse as are Stoke.

Remember watching them at Spurs a couple of years ago, they were so impressive. How a club declined so quickly and spent nearly £45k on two strikers that scored 1 goal last year. Ouch.

Now four down. Still haven’t scored this season either. Manager first out?

Should never have sacked Wilder. They'd have gone down anyway, but he would have got them competing this year, I've no doubt.

Meanwhile, Boro level it against the ten men from the Bush. Plenty of time for Warnock's men to find the winner.

Early days and they have a manager that has promoted two teams. Think United will be there and thereabouts at the of the season but they are having a shocker tonight.

I don’t disagree, but he did sign all these forwards for around £60m who’ve scored 13 goals in two years for them!!

The fact that EFL clubs are playing their 5th games of the season on Saturday, while we’re about to play our 2nd, really brings home the difference in the schedule we’ll be experiencing this year.
Hopefully it’ll mean we’ll be able to adopt a high energy pressing game when necessary, and also manage the likes of Pontus’ injury more effectively.

Neither of them started last night. McGoldrick and Sharp did :ROFLMAO:
Even have Oli Burke and Mousset.

I know it was called a sacking but how can it be if they asked him three times to 'reconsider' his initial decision?

Is there a way we can auto-schedule a weekly response on this thread along the lines of:
"Awful standard this season"
to save us all time??

I suspect Fulham will walk it, sadly. Far superior squad to anyone else in that division.

QPR making 2 tactical changes after 35 minutes.

And they’re 2-0 down to Barnsley.

Warburton in actual Plan B shock.
Or is this trying to do Plan A better?

I can’t remember with all the drivel he spouts.

Well they couldn't do Plan A much worse, it's difficult to tell what they are doing at the moment as it's been all Barnsley since the subs came on.

Barnsley will view that as two pts dropped given that last minute counter attack and a simple pass for an open goal.

Sheff U suffering the ever so predictable consequences of trying to change a style that's been deeply ingrained in their squad over years and years... Shame..

Forest have lost 4 in a row.
Shocking.

Didn't they also lose their first 4 games last season? Don't think they ever recovered from missing the play offs a couple of seasons back. May it continue and some of their fan base living off past glories more than 30 years back.

Great to see Scott Hogan winding up the Loo Town fans, downside is that it helped Birmingham to a 5-0 win.

West Brom score a last minute winner at Peterborough, is that every game there has been injury time goals in their games?

Fergie jnr throwing his toys out of the pram at the end of the game having a figure pointing and shouting match with Valerien Ishmael.
I bet he'd loved to play them every week too.

but... but... they're European champions!!!
I see the spiky anti-Forest thread from summer 2020 was closed so may as well share this here.

Apparently they are looking to use some far-sighted technique called analytics to buy great players without spending a bomb every summer. It could catch on
Good old Barnsley eh. That is reference to Dane Murphy, their new CEO. Doesn't say whether they are going back to passing the ball on the ground.

My reassuringly cyncial Forest friend comments
"I am sure the forest moneyball experiment will end after it fails to deliver immediate results. At least they have decided that a plan is required, other than just signing a new team every year."

Birmingham in the top 4 with their win last night. Won’t last.

Anyway, didn’t see the game last night but heard Don Goodman comparing Deeney going to Birmingham with Ronaldo going to Man Utd. Ha.
