Although the rumour they mentioned on Soccer Saturday is if they don't have something sorted by 1st Feb they could be expelled from the leagueAnd how about Derby County - Does anyone think they can survive? I think they might.
Derby are only 8 points adrift with 20 games left. They’d be 11th without points deductions. They'd need to average the points tally of a playoff side, where they've averaged around 12th since the start of the season. It's impressive that Rooney is keeping it all together but I just think it's a mission too far.
Particularly with Reading seeming to be in free fall.Derby are only 8 points adrift with 20 games left. They’d be 11th without points deductions.
I think there is a more than reasonable chance they’ll stay up.
Yeah, but he'll always be a c unt.It looks as though Aleksandar Mitrović will smash Ivan Toney’s goal record. He’s now on 27 goals from 25 matches.
Disgusting.
Reading and Birmingham City getting relegated would be hilarious.Birmingham are winless in 6 and have taken only 6 points from their last 10 games.
If Derby keep picking up points, they could well be sucked into a relegation battle.
Reading, Birmingham and Derby would be even funnier.Reading and Birmingham City getting relegated would be hilarious.
Sadly there is also Peterborough and Barnsley in the mix, so both of them would need to go on a bit of a roll.Reading, Birmingham and Derby would be even funnier.
Charitable is the word.Derby v Brum. Hogan missed a couple of sitters but got one. Lyle Taylor the first Good cross from Ryan Woods for the second. Brum are like a Bees alternarive reality.
Ref being charitable to Derby as they've got 32K there and have that when youre down youre down feel about them (just had a cert handball stopping a goal).
Good game to watch tbf.
Reminds me of tic tacsForest kit!!!![]()
But just deserts for the timing of the Derby 2nd goal, given the amount of time wasting by Birmingham players especially the Keeper.Exciting finish and glad Derby got a point, but dear or dear, hardly a bit of quality in sight!
And the first...Forest defending for the second Cardiff goal was non existent.
Terrible tbhForest kit!!!![]()
Lost their manager and the few players who had more than just really high fitness. Not been following the championship in recent weeks but didn’t realise Barnsley are rock bottom with only two wins all season. How have they fallen so badly considering they made the play offs last season and did a proper job on us last season at home?
Anyway good to see Swansea losing again tonight.
Probably do e them a favour, by playing without Stearman.Derby fans have been excellent tonight. Really hope they can stay up. Holding on for a point tonight after going down to 10 men after 3 minutes would be really impressive
Hopefully he keeps scoring, Putney convince themselves he’s good enough for the Orem so spend their money elsewhere then he flops again on their way back downMitrovic now on 30 league goals for the season.
He’s still a **** though.
Pretty sure he signed a 5 year contract not so long ago, so they'll definitely be keeping him for the Prem!Hopefully he keeps scoring, Putney convince themselves he’s good enough for the Orem so spend their money elsewhere then he flops again on their way back down
Yes but had he had an ‘average’ season I imagine they’d think that he’d ‘failed’ at the top level multiple times so would be looking to bring in someone alongside/instead of him but if he bangs in 40 goals hopefully they’ll think he’s good enough and not add quality to that area.Pretty sure he signed a 5 year contract not so long ago, so they'll definitely be keeping him for the Prem!
Anybody but QPR.Notts Florist are on fire. To think they were bottom when Steve Cooper took over. Very strong candidates for promotion now I would have thought..
…………spot on……….don’t want those mugs anywhere near the Premier League…………..….Anybody but QPR.
Boro will beat them in the SF after refusing to allow Spence to stay beyond the regular season.Notts Florist are on fire. To think they were bottom when Steve Cooper took over. Very strong candidates for promotion now I would have thought..
Still a c unt thoughMitrović scored again - 31 goals from 28 matches!
Will always be while he plays for that lot.Still a c unt though
And also if he moves.....Will always be while he plays for that lot.
Barnsley up and both of them down would be a beautiful thing.Reading have Peterborough away on Wednesday, that is a huge game.
Much though I hate Fergie jnr and Barry Fry, I'd much prefer them to stay up at Reading's expense.
It looks like Derby will stay up, although it sickens me to say it. They should have been relegated automatically. The other 3 teams' form has been dire. I actually hope Barnsley's win yesterday signals an upturn in form and they stay up. Well run club, too.Looks like 3 from 4 to go down and with Barnsley winning against QPR, Reading are only 5 points from the bottom of the Championship.
Reading have lost their last 6 and taken only 2 points from the last 10 games. Lump on them dropping. Could finally bring me closure of that Cureton goal from 20 years ago!

Agreed. It was quite funny laughing at the ‘superhuman’ fitness claims coming from some Barnsley fans last season but I’d prefer them staying up.It looks like Derby will stay up, although it sickens me to say it. With the benefit of 20 years hindsight although it was gutting at the time to miss auto promotion and then to surrender against Stoke knowing most our best players and an excellent manager in Coppell were off for good, I’m glad we didn’t deliver Noad£s with a promotion. I dread to think how much more he’d have mortgaged the club if we’d gone up or if he hadn’t, how abjectly we’d have done going up and playing a rag tag bunch of sub par players.Looks like 3 from 4 to go down and with Barnsley winning against QPR, Reading are only 5 points from the bottom of the Championship.
