Some nice kits this year, particularly liking the hummel kits for bristol city and boros away kit. The hummel goalkeeper kits look very nice. Special mentions for barnsleys away kit, swansea away kit and coventrys home kit. Some ghastly ones aswell like birminghams, cardiff, forest and sheff wednesday especially! Making the jaffa cake kit look like a work of art.

Didn't Charlton get relegated last season or am I missing something?

Barnsley anyone?

See what you mean about the Sheff Wed kit. Cardiff seem to keep the same kit for years on end. Completely unmemorable.

A lot of the usual chaff in there generally though. Although the Preston away shirt looks alright.

When did Luton's home colours become orange? I thought white was their home kit.

Indeed not many kits are at all inspiring

Derby, Boro & PNE : 32 Bet sponsor name + ironic team instructions perhaps - play responsibly, set their limit & never chase loses

Swansea home kit is set to hypnotise the opposition - well they need an extra edge - small margins & all that!

Watford's "sun/crest burst" - new horizon's & all that for £55 (phew)

If I was a ten year old Bristol city fan at least one of the goalkeepers shirts would be on my Christmas list .

Are/were you a GK because when I was a kid, anyone I knew that wore a GK kit that wasn't a GK was often one sandwich short of a picnic. (And thinking about it, that has remained true in adulthood too.)

The 1992 throwback Bristol City GK shirt is great. Remember Benstead wearing that design in 92/93 and Dearden the following year...

The best shirt IMO is Luton away. Swansea away is the worst.

Played a few times in goal when ours never turned up ,. I think the keepers jersey is so different that you would have to have it. Bristol city shirt is similar to ours as you can't deviate much from your traditional colours or or colourways ( unless your Southampton ) , but goalkeepers shirts are a blank canvas to a point . Not like the good old days ,to quote Henry ford, you can have any colour you like as long as it's green. I remember people going wild over Peter bonettis shirt having a collar .

Millwall is one of the few I’ve see where the sponsor brings balance to the shirt. So often they’re a disastrous after thought.
