As well as suffering relegation to the old 4th Division yesterday (who remembers the days of Hoddle, Gorman and Macari etc?), it seems that affairs off the field are in an even worse state.

From what I can gather, (part) owner Lee Power, a former player and players' agent) wants to seel the club, to someone who may or may not be connected to him, but his former partner and co-owner with whom he has fallen out badly, has gone to court to prevent this. Power no longer speaks to the Supporters' Trust. Meanwhile, the club looks to be technically insolvent.

I can't really figure out what's going on, but the local paper is getting plenty of copy, that's for sure:
Judge frustrates Lee Power's bid to sell Swindon Town to American buyers

P.S. Power also bought Irish side Waterford FC a few years back.

So as well as Relegation and Court cases, Swindon are going for the Treble - they have been charged by The FA with breaching the FA's Regulations on working with Intermediaries (i.e. Agents):
Intermediary Regulations breaches

EDIT: I've just found the Statement issued by Swindon in response to the above charge:

"Swindon Town Football Club were made aware of the FA charges this morning and are currently seeking legal advice.
The Club will make no further comment at this time."
CLUB RESPONSE TO FA CHARGE

Now that's what I call 'Fan Engagement'! :ROFLMAO:

Never really liked Swindon or their fans.
Just like i felt with Luton, would be funny if they had a spell in the National League.

Seen a few tweets from Swindon fans recently saying that they can't believe the state they're in, citing us an example of where they should be, saying they're a much bigger club than us... oh well.... 👋

They've got more roundabouts - maybe how their owners have run circles around them....
