Ken the copper probably the moat recognisable bloke associated with Brentford who is not on the playing staff.. I would say that more fans know him than Matthew Benham...love away games at train stations especially when ken is standing there and is greeted with a hello ken individually from the Brentford faithful.

The female steward in the breamar seems alright also like a mum looking after her naughty kids..

What other characters big or small add to your match day experience...

Also that loony old guy who rides a bike in his shorts with speaks attached cracks me when I see him

Years ago, I remember a female steward with strawberry blone hair who used to walk the length of New Road to a round of applause.

There are numerous fans that me and my mate know by GPG-like nicknames.

For example, there is Paul Weller Bee who stands on the Ealing road. Doesn't really look like Paul Weller but reminds me of him for some reason lol

Then there is Postman Bee, a postman once delivered a letter to him and he instantly recognised him from the terrace.

There is also Saville Bee, looks like Jimmy Saville but lets leave it at that lol

Pauline. A top lady who I asked to ban me for life after 60 minutes on Tuesday as I went to have a pee, I'm pleased she didn't in the end. She has helped me out when I was prime suspect for throwing a bottle at Gradel and a burger at Stimson, I've never bought a burger at GP in all my years of going and I drink bottled water at football, she knew it wasn't me and saved my arse from the heavy mob.
The Auntie Pauline and Nick Logan show in every second half at GP is a sight to behold, it's Brentford folklore.

Wembley Joe and Fencer are two old stalwarts, the fact that they are still friends after the James Bond incident is amazing, you always see them at away games, they have very dinstictive faces.

I remember. She wore a massive Mod-type parka with a number on the back instead of a roundel.

GP200 for his style and sartorial elegance. His posts on here make me chuckle and he's a constant reminder of the clothes that I wore as a 14 year old lad.

As a kid, when New Road was terrace, I used to sit on that kind of metal ledge at the back of the stand. If I ever I stood on it, she would always clock you and would wonder down the sideline to motion to me and other over excited kids to sit the f*ck down but in a nice sort of way, like she was genuinely concerned for your wellbeing. Sitting on that ledge used to kill your backside by the end of the game though.

BuzzBee and Buzzette.

There aren't any other characters. The ones named on here are just odd people.

Yep, Ken the Copper!! Top bloke. The "original" copper character at the Bees had to be PC 831!!

Many great characters (and a few odd ones too :nutty:) at Bees games - many already mentioned. There's a fair few characters from my younger days who I don't really see these days or maybe see occassionally - Lottery, Spike, Suntan, Tracksuit Tel, Washer (see occassionally) to name just a few. :sorted:

All the good folks I see at Griffin Park on matchdays are characters to me!
It is part of the joys of going to watch our team, and such friendships are greatly valued.
The wit, banter and chat are priceless. Especially from those who help make it an enjoyable experience regardless of the performance or result etc
Sadly, we lost some truly fine characters in recent years, but it should make us appreciate the remaining folk even more...

He's living up in norfolk somewhere these days. Still does a handful of games a season. Last saw him at home to Tranmere this season and before that I think was Stevenage away last season.

There's always been nicknames and lookalikes at Griffin Park, it's one of the things that make the place so special. Although I suspect every other ground is the same....

It is fair to say he was was the only person at Carlisle (not on the pitch) wearing shorts...

What happened to Gerry and Steve Byrne? Saw Feet at CFC away.

What about the two girls in the beige Burberry style macs who were always together in the Oak.

What about the Bees lost to Thailand temporarily, Simon Pitt & can see his face but forgot his name.

He's known to me and Mrs PB as Captain Birdseye. I always used to try to go through his turnstile for luck, although it never seemed to have much effect one way or the other.

Yes this is Bill the Fish. A really nice bloke and a regular at PJs barbecues.

Surely the most recognisable person associated with Brentford and not on the playing staff is Sir Peter of Gilham:idea::sorted:
