Park the bus and try and keep it respectable?
Try and play our normal game and go toe-to-toe, accepting we may get a whipping?
Play cautiously and try and hit on the break, like an away performance?
Pass the ball straight out of play and get a ball-boy to sit on it for 90 minutes?

A hammering could damage confidence. But battling hard and chasing the ball all over the park could knacker out our first team.

I think they've got to go for it. Not often they get to play the European champions, and pack out GP.

Agree. Trying to play any other way will not come naturally to the players. Then again if we can find a large ball boy...........

Having just watching the Man U Fulham game, I feel gutted we were not chosen as the Saurday night evening game, Griffin Park would have really been buzzing for an evening game, where as Old Trafford was dead tonight. The people who select these games dont know anything about football. :mad1:

Absolutely. What we mustn't do is get too deep and let them come onto us. They'll simply pick us off.

Reckon we'll try and pass it about a lot to start with, work hard to keep possession, so that the players get some confidence and push on from there. Agree that we need to try and press them up the park and not show them too much respect. Will need 100% concentration from each and every player for every single second of the game. 4141 is probably the system we will adopt.

I think the conditions may help us. They're away from home in less than plush surroundings and it's set to be pretty blustery. If we get in their faces and start fast, we may upset them a bit. Who knows. If we get ahead their fans may get on the manager's back.

I think Clayton and Harry should run at them as much as possible early on. We will get nothing from a Premiership ref and I expect we will get kicked around but get precious few decisions. They have a few players unavailable now which is better for us. I would play Clayton on his own up front and hope to get Harry forward as much as possible.

Hopefully Clayton is played up front and not out wide, JT hasn't played for some time and will be short of match fitness. Clayton needs to be at him from the start.

If its Cahill and Terry then Clayton makes run inbetween the two.Neither blessed with pace and easily unsettles them.Harry and Adam must run at the full backs.They can cut inside and out and that will cause mistakes.Both brim with confidence when running at defenders.

Our centre midfield may have a torrid time though and must get the ball out wide..if they play 4-3-3 it gives us width which we can exploit.Chances though have to be taken as we all know they will not need many.

Harlee,Craig and Shay will have to be on their toes and no ball watching.Meet the ball early and clear your lines.A ball high up in E block is better than one in our net.We are good at options when on the ball and that is one of our strengths.

Show em no respect,show em who's boss and show em we mean business.
It's gonna be tough and hard work,but if we give 110% then who knows.

Just give it a go lads...that's all we ask. Don't worry about what they can do to us etc, let them worry about what we can do to them. We are capable of hurting them with the likes of Harry and CD and should set up to maximise their opportunities to do so. It is the Bees day in the sun and we should give it a go rather that adopting a conservative approach.
