As this game looks like it will be going ahead, I will have a ticket in the West Stand, available.
I have it as print at home, but I think there is a way it can be emailed to someone.

Me too. In fact I've got two tickets in the West Stand if anyone wants them.

Seen so many tickets being bandied about here and on Facebook. I thought a Cup Quarter Final against our local rivals, Champions of Europe, under the lights would be a hotter ticket tbh.
Not if you’ve got elderly relatives in a pandemic.

Different people have different situations.
Not that i need to explain mine to you.
I bought a ticket for a fellow Bees fan who can no longer go, due to illness, not Covid, so that's why I have one going.

Its a sign of the times and quite sad that there is limited excitement about a 1/4 final at home to Chelsea. Being a bit selfish from far away I would like to see us put a decent team out tomorrow and if we do need to rest players, do it against Man City. It will be a much bigger ask to get anything up there, the way they are playing at the moment but I do feel we could give Chels a right go under the lights at home. Whatever we decide I will be cheering from 10,000 km away at 4am. COYB!!!

Sense and logic dictate not attending but I think that driving to the area, double-mask and gloves, scuttling through the concourse on the way in and waiting for it to clear on the way out might suffice. I'm sure the game will go ahead although it probably shouldn't. Will do a test before leaving.

It’s in the customer charter. Ring up tomorrow morning for a full refund.
Thanks Rebus.

Anyone had any luck with the box office this morning?
I've been on continuously since it opened at 10am and it 'queues' for 10 mins with that poxy 'music' and then goes dead
Should I hang on or try again?
I've tried the call back * thing but that doesn't seem to work.

Is it worth emailing or will I get the same level of service?

🆘

If you email, it’s proof they couldn’t go before the game. I’d try that.

Absolutely, I will be going because I am triple vaxxed and I had covid 6-7 weeks ago and I am not seeing anyone outside immedate family in the same situation as me on Xmas day and boxing day. We know of 6 families who's kids all turned in positive tests yesterday so won't be seeing the grandparents again this year, all the kids were in the same class, very mild symptoms but still can't risk mixing.

This could be the last game we get to see for a while so I intend to make the most of it.

Why ? There are no plans to stop fans as we have covid passports now

That is not really the point though is it, if your test comes back positive your poor old mum gets to spend another Xmas on her own in the care home. People are doing this to make sure Xmas day goes ahead as much as trying not infect them.
True , but i figure i am more likely to catch it at work , on train to work , etc than at a Covid passport match ?

I did call back. Took about 30-45mins to get the call back. Credited for tickets for a future game rather than a refund. All good

Unfortunately l wasn't able to attend this one. I was rather pi**ed off but I'm rather glad now as l dont have to make the decision.I have to say that I'd probably have decided against as l don't feel sufficiently informed about omicron. What l do know is that it's extremely contagious and l wouldnt take the risk of picking it up.

I've also done the same. Credit for a future game. Am nowhere near feeling great but currently negative. I've got vulnerable inlaws coming over at Christmas both in their 80's and need to protect them.

They were happy to give credit even if you don't actually have Covid??
I was about to phone to ask for a refund on a guest's ticket as he has Covid, but thought it would be a bit cheeky to ask for one on mine too as I'm negative, but have decided not to go anyway because I'd be going by myself, and running the risk of bringing it home for Christmas.

Hoping game is on…both teams can play 2nd string teams…I bet the other 3 games are played too 👍 will be a better support too seeing as the doom mongers and the worried of everything will all be staying home 👍 get the game on👍

Chelsea could play some of their Under 23s. They still good to be honest. They drew in Russia recently and my nephew played for them. He is on standby and hoping to get called up tomorrow.

Sadly can’t go as we have all tested positive in the last week.

On a selfish note I have been hoping that it would be postponed to a later date.

Just on hold to the ticket office to get my money back. Hopefully someone else can buy our tickets in the North Stand.

Club have credited all three tickets even though only my son has tested positive while my partner and I have decided not to go to protect her parents.

Great gesture by the box office team at Brentford FC and :sorted: :sorted: to them for what must be far more stressful few days before Xmas than they were expecting!

Yep. I don't have covid though do have four highly vulnerable people with us, so not worth the risk. I didn't need to explain that though, they just asked if there was anyone I could transfer tickets to. When I said no they offered the credit. Good customer service imo.

Wonder what the situation would be IF the game we're to be postponed, for those that have had a refund on their tickets?
Would they (including ST holders) need to try to buy again for the rearranged game, with no guarantee of a ticket?
Presumably some of those refunded tickets may well have been resold.....

To be honest its just nice to get some money back. I have lost the cost of the hotel bookings for the MU game and this game. If the City game is off or BCD then I lose two rooms booked. Costing me an effin fortune but hey ho.

You're right, that's the risk people are taking. But having just phoned to get credit on my three, I reckon that there are way more tickets being returned than are going to be resold by tomorrow night. The guy I spoke to was clearly on autopilot dealing with requests for returns and I guess he and however many others have been fielding calls all day.

I have to say that I think it's a great offer by the club to offer credit with no questions asked, and shows that they really understand that many people aren't prepared to risk Christmas with their families being spoiled for the second year running.

I'm planning to spend my credit on semi-final tickets!

If the Man City game is off I think I can just about swallow the £33.99 loss to Kew Bridge Travelodge!

It’s mounting up for me including pre booked parking I am up to £120 wasted. If City game off it’s another £80. Why did I not take the cancellation option DOH! All were booked in more confident times.

Normally, I’m always willing to take the risk for the football and would have again had it not been Christmas three days after!

Kicking myself, having missed no home games so far this season and only missing Newcastle away in the end! But after the year we’ve had and last Christmas, just felt it was a big risk to take at this time of year.

Gone for the option of credit on my account…👍

After missing out on last season's EFL Cup Run

We can now get behind the team tonight

Using reverse psychology I cancelled my room for City which means it’ll be on! Just a late night drive back and no beer.
