Yeah seemed to work well. I refreshed my screen at 1.48 and I was put in a waiting room. Got let in at 14.07 worried it would be disappearing seats like previously so went straight to the block in North that normally had lots… but actually seemed like good availability and I even messed up my initial basket and still got the 3 seats.
Hopefully the waiting room works well (less fastest finger first) and I can choose the actual block I want to sit in without a blind panic lol

Forgot about this until 5 mins ago! Got tickets fortunately without too much issue. I should have sorted on Fri really but Newcastle shenanigans prevented that and they were off sale this morning!

That answered one of my questions. I logged in at 1:55 and was put in the waiting room, thinking that I should have logged in earlier, but I also got let in at 14:07 so that must have been the first "tranche". Waiting room works well. Got two tickets in S104!!

.... that's interesting....where does this go now if all members(how many are there on BFCs books) who want tickets have now taken up option....empty seats v Chelsea at BCS in a QF of a cup surely isn't a real thing.....that would be strange.....and it's not even televised.... I'm confused....... Mickey Mouse Cup doesn't even cut it.

True but the 22nd December may have something to do with it. Not every Bee would be confident travelling to London so close to Christmas and then there are a number of Bees already in London who I expect would have plans to travel themselves around the 22nd/23rd before we start to consider work places breaking up with potential parties etc.

As for members, thousands of our new members would have been 'PL fans' more than Brentford and to them they'd likely think changed line ups etc. We still might sell out but I think in the circumstances we're doing well with ticket sales.

.....agree re Christmas.....also agree re 'PL fans'.....but don't think ' ' are required....so if it was a league game on 22nd....SOLD OUT sign would be showing....but still time for that to happen as you say...also agree with 'small club again'.....kinda warming and nostalgic....happy Christmas...ho ho ho....and bah humbug

It'll be my last game until Villa due to Christmas so really looking to it. I might even buy one of the clubs Christmas jumpers 😆

I've tried on numerous occasions to print my ticket, it just gets stuck on buffering. Then need to try and get kids tickets in F&F printed. It says to go into link, which seems to be blocked for security reasons. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I think ST holders buying a second ticket should be the next option ??

Do the club sell the tickets closest to the away end last? Ie, could they give Chelsea another 500 or so? Rather that than see them going to waste.

Does the £30 maximum away price rule apply in the league cup?

Circumstances dictate that me and my brother don't get to many games.
TAPS are therefore hard to come by, so F&F applications don't work for us.
Our last match was the 5-0 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday last year at GP.
We did a synchronized purchase over our phones / laptops last night for this one.
Managed to get two seats together in the West stand for our first game at the new stadium !
Herr Tuchel won't send out a weakened team, even with a tin-pot trophy at stake.
Bees to win ! Can't wait ! :hat:

Even their 2nd XI would be very strong! I’ve attached below the team Tuchel played in I think his first game which was against Barnsley in R5 FA Cup last season. It’s unlikely he’d go weaker than that in a QF against a PL team that had already given them quite a battering earlier in the season.

To be fair using the ticket site is far from self explanatory and I don’t blame anyone who doesn’t fully understand it
We are both eligible.
We're also both a bit thick, so we're probably doing it wrong. 🤭
if your mate is listed in your friends and family or vice versa one person can log on and buy both your tickets so they will be together.

i used to buy for all of our group some members some STH with varying taps I don’t anymore because it’s too hard with the points when ppl are eligible and the tranches so just sort myself out, most of them find it difficult to get there own tickets using the site now

Evening all, another confused user here...

I signed up for my membership on Monday with the aim of getting a Watford ticket via the exchange.

But now I can see I should be able to get a Chelsea ticket but it is showing as 'restricted offer' on the ticket site. I have access to get BHA away and Everton at home but no access for the Chelsea one

I've emailed the club but obviously won't get a response until the morning, any idea what I am doing wrong?!

You have to be a member before a match goes on sale. So you should not be able to get a Chelsea ticket if you bought a Membership on Monday.

I'm not sure that this is a useful conversation or idea.

Ok.......... Say i wanted to get a ticket for one of or all three of my girls who arent really into football atm but all shout "GO ON YOU BEES" for good luck as i go out the door.

Seeing as there are long standing fans boycotting and giving it a miss and its not sold out whilst being available to all members, then the club should open it up to other ST holders who already have a ticket no?

If one of them gets the bug then great i may look at membership for them........................ But then again so long as all the Chelsea fans who have memberships get one then happy days ;)

I guess the question everyone is having, is how the rest of the tickets are opened up, which surely they have to be with ~2000 unsold.

- Opened up to STH/Members for additional tickets?
- Opened up to General Sale
- Restricted or unrestricted quantities

Personally, I reckon it will be General Sale, and while some will whinge about how Johnny public gets the same opportunity for multiple tickets as a long standing fan, the fact is most sth/members will have (or should have) their finger on the pulse when tickets released. In my opinion, very unlikely there will be a mob of non members/sth waiting with baited breath for the GS window to open.

I reckon this will close to sell out, but tickets will be available up until the game.

Final point. I’m still surprised about the swathes of empty seats in the west stand…

It won't be general sale as the away end is sold out

With it being Chelsea I'd be very surprised if it went to general sale. The problem with guest sale is it would be difficult for a ST holder/member to get a seat beside them for their guest.

However even with that problem I think it will go to ST holders being able to buy a 2nd ticket, at least there is some responsibility to ensure that 2nd ticket is given to someone who isn't a Chelsea fan, followed us in the past or just wants to watch the game as a neutral.

Or being the time of year it is, and if there is only a small number of tickets left it would be a good gesture to give tickets to the community trust, local NHS or schools in the local area.
